No surprises.

What is interesting is that Gutierrez is active today...the Pats having 3 QBs...Hmmmmm Not surprised about any of the others..I wonder if they may use him on ST??

Really? You don't think that having Gutierrez active is a surprise?

Didn't he actually spend time during the final pre-season game on kick coverage?

When was teh last time a team had 3 QBs active??? Hmmm I can not remember...a LONG time I am sure.. A LOT of teams do not even have 3 QBs on the roster...with Greene on the PSqd, the Pats have 4...

Re: Pats Inactives: Watson, Wilson, Morris, Mitchell, Alexander, Britt, K. Brown, Yat

with Wilson out..im really hoping for Meriweather rotates in at Safety quiet a bit today.

to be honest..im not so "comfortable" with Sanders and Harrison covering deep versus speed guys like Moss and Randel El.

Re: Pats Inactives: Watson, Wilson, Morris, Mitchell, Alexander, Britt, K. Brown, Yat

Gutt being active suggests to me that there are ZERO healthy scratches. No?

Britt or Yates both injured? Why would you NOT want to at least give yourself the option, just in case? They must be nicked up.

OR

BB wants the option to go to Guttierez or Cassel whenever he wants during the game???

Eh. We've got Meriweather, Andrews and Gay to help out.

i want to see a Meriweather pick. and a big hit. I want him to compete with Sean Taylor for the "big hitter in middle of field"

Any guesses on why Gutt's active, Remix?

a sign to Matt Cassell? idk

If he was the 3rd QB, once he comes in, isn't a rule the other 2 can't? Perhaps BB plans on sitting Tom if the game is in hand, but doesn't trust Cassel 100% yet?

who knows. Maybe he'll play some ST? do something. no idea why we would have 3 QBs active.

The rule is that if the 3rd QB comes in PRIOR to the start of the 4th quarter, then the 1st and 2nd stringers can't come back in. But that is ONLY if the 3rd QB is designated as SUCH and is technically inactive..

If the team only has 45 players dressed INCLUDING all 3 qbs, that rule doesn't apply.

Re: Pats Inactives: Watson, Wilson, Morris, Mitchell, Alexander, Britt, K. Brown, Yat

So does BB think we will need 3 qbs? Is Brady hurt? Not that anyone would know if he was.:p

Re: Pats Inactives: Watson, Wilson, Morris, Mitchell, Alexander, Britt, K. Brown, Yat

Does this mean Seymour is starting?

so that means we can interchange Cassell/Guiterez anytime we want right?

So were winning..take Brady out. Cassell goes in..throws a pick or something..bench him..but Guiterez doesnt do any better so Cassell goes back in for his 2nd try? hmm

no. i dont expect Seymour to start. Depending how conditioned/ready he is..is how much PT he will get. I expect him 15-20 plays

No way this game Brady goes out because of a blow out. The Skins are to good on d for that.
