Theres more to England than just London, 90% of people need to pull their heads out of their arses down there anyways. .

It's nearer 99.99%. Did you know that no one in London moved there from elsewhere? I, for example, am not originally from Manchester.

I'm very much against the future expansion of the NFL. All Brits hate the game of Football as shown by the incredibly poor ticket sales for Wembley. That said, unlike 99% of people on this board, I know nothing about the UK, so I will bow to your superior judgements on this matter. After all, all of you have travelled widely in the UK and have seen more than a small section of one city.

The one or two tickets that they have managed to sell have only come because of Americans. I know of NO BRITS WHATSOEVER who like Football or who would attend every home game of a franchise- NONE.

This game will be no good as it denies the sell out crowd that there would have been for this game in Miami (like the sell out crowd there was last week for the Pats game. It was brilliant, the way all those Dolphins fans came dressed in orange, to make themselves look like empty seats). Foreign franchises would be bad because of the travelling distances involved. Here are some things to consider:

1) There is NO CHANCE whatsoever that flight across the Atlantic will get faster, easier and cheaper. Airplanes are currently travelling at the speed of light and therefore it will ALWAYS take as long as it currently does to fly to Europe (which I believe is near Iran or somewhere).
2) NO ONE outside of the US likes Football.
3) NO ONE outside the US speaks English.
4) The Superbowl has at least a 100% chance of being played outside the US. It absolutely would not be political and economic suicide for the NFL to do this.
5) No team in the NFL ever has to travel a couple of thousand miles for a game. EVER. For example, the Pats NEVER have to go to Seattle, San Diego or Oakland.
6) Foreigners hate freedom, love terrorists, speak funny and are foreign.

Can't beat a bit of sarcasm :D

No sir, I did not :D My uncle moved down there many moons ago, got family down there now. Cousins aren't bad lads for ****neys :)

I was trying to decide which would wind you up more: me being a Manc or living in London :)D )

Not a good or a bad idea. Just plain stupid. Somewhere the

potential must exist for the NFL to make big money by spreading

the game to Europe. Soccer has always been the name of the game

throughout Europe. How about something more reasonably like

considering franchises in Montreal and Toronto?

Nah, I'm not your typical proffesional scouser who hates mancs (just Man United) and all things southern. Nor do I think the rest of the country is against me and my city and sky sports do not have some form of agenda against Liverpool FC.

I was in the army with quite a few mancunians, good lads and excellent banter, pity some take the rivalry of the football clubs into everyday life. Londons a nice place, expensive, but nice. Just some of the folks can be ignorant as fook.

I'm a United supporter and know far too many Mancs who take the football rivalry too far. They justify Hillsborough and Heysel songs.

Oh, and there are some seriously arrogant f*ckers in this city.
Sh*t, I have an interest in common with a Scouser. I can't cope!

I said it in another thread and I'll say it again here. Folks in Europe do not care about American football at all. They like [soccer] football. Good for them, I think that sport sucks, and they very well may think the same about football, who knows.

Basketball, baseball, hockey, these sports are played all over the globe and are watched all over - expansion for those sports makes some sense. Soccer rules in Europe, and the NFL is barking up the wrong tree trying to sell their product in that part of the globe.

I herar ya. Soccer is everything there. When was the last time you saw a riot develop over a football game. If those people are willing to riot and kill eachother over the lame game of soccer, then football is deinitly not a sport for them.

It's true. Our murder and violence rates are nothing like yours.

This game can't hurt the Fins at all because we're 0-7 and really can't see any more type of a negative impact. The Giants are the team in trouble here because they have something to lose. This is such a dumb idea to send these teams over the pond, keep the games in house and don't rob the fans of a home game.

We can be just as bad with Munich songs. It goes too far sometimes.

:D You know you love us really.

Yeah that's what I thought.

First you give him the stupidest nickname in the history of nick names and then you misquote him in your sig. My deepest sympathies for Chris that he is now being supported by fans like this guy.

After watching that clip on NFL.com the Giants players seemed up for being here anyways, unless that was just for the cameras. Strahan seemed more interested in the Chelsea players Ferrari's and Bentleys :D I guess thats the life you can lead when your pocketing a hundred and thirty thousand pounds every friday.

Been to a OAK/SD game lately?

Show me a clip where the fans of a team are attacking the opposing teams players with sticks and glass bottles. I don't have to be at a SD/Oak game to know that didn't happen. I'm talking about a riot, not 2 drunk guys fighting in the parking lot.

Damn aqwaaaaahhhh...you only give me 38 minutes to respond! Jeez. Why do you get so butt-hurt over trash talking? You talk like a pathetic friend that found out his buddies talk about him behind his back. You're so emo!

Dont have a video but do some research if you wanna debate. Are you trying to say that soccer creates riots or europeans?
