Tom Brady is not the only QB this week who has a chance to break the record of beating all other 31 teams in the league when he faces Washington but Peyton Manning is also looking to join Tom by beating Carolina as Manning is 0-2 in his career facing them as well.

Plus the fact that both meet each other next week adds even more spice to this.

Do you happen to think the schedule maker had intentions with scheduling both QBs to eliminate thier final enemy on the beaten list in the same week or is it a weird coincidence?

Probably just weird coincidence. I highly doubt the schedule makers keep track of things like that, let alone building their schedule around it.

From the article, Manning has started more consecutive games (150) than Brady (101). Since I don't think either has missed a start once they got it, this means Manning has a whole 50% extra playing experience than Brady, as well as 50% more time in the NFL.

To put this into perspective, Favre has 60% more NFL experience than Manning. And Manning has 50% more NFL experience than Brady.

That's an incredible stat. Think about how amazing that is. With how long Manning and Brady have played just shows the true testimant to how great both these teams have been this decade.

Didn't you just go into a spiel about how you could list 30 reasons as to how you hate Brady.. have you taken your meds today???

I guess he has not......oh dear...

Well, being a Redskins fan, I certainly don't want that to happen. That being said, it's a wonderful accolade to reach. I like Brady. He's a hell of a QB and I'm looking forward to the Pats/Colts matchup. (I'm looking forward to the matchup this weekend as well.)

I remember watching a Marino/Elway matchup back in the day that became an air show. I certainly hope this is like that game. It's gonna be interesting to watch.

I certainly would not miss a game in which two of the greatest QBs at the prime of their careers went at it. It's something worth saving on DVD to show my boys when they're older.

Well, I think many of us Pats fans want to see an air show from Brady. We wouldn't mind if Manning's flights are rerouted to Patriot defenders, though. ;)

Ironic that they would all get their chance at the same time.

I think Miami breaks a record this year by LOSING to every team in the league in one season. :D

I wonder if they break out the champagne for that, too?

This is a hard thing to compare, because not until 2002 was there any schedule rotation with a guarantee that you would play every team at lead once every 4 years, never mind beat every team at least once. We are now in the 6th year of it, and so this stuff is starting to flesh out.

Just because I hate him doesn't mean I don't think he's a good quarterback.

Everyone loves to compare Brady and Manning. They had a stat on TV the other night that might surprise a few people. Brady has 50 fewer career games than Peyton Manning. I think Manning had 150 games and Brady 100.
