RyantheColt and I have agreed to a wager for the upcoming Patriots-Colts game. If the Patriots win Ryan will donate $20 to the Bread of Life under my user name. If the Colts win I'll donate $20 to the Bread of Life under Ryan's user name. Either way a good charity wins!

It would be great if other Patriots and Colts fans participated. YOU WILL NOT BE WAGERING WITH RYAN OR MYSELF. You can wager with another Patriots/Colts fan OR you can just post "If the Patriots/cots win/lose I'll donate -$ to the Bread for Life".

It can be more or less than the $20 than Ryan and I wagered. Please do not wager more than you can afford or really intend to donate.

The address is:

Bread of Life
511 Main St
Malden, Mass 02148-3918
Attention: Mea Quinn Mustone

This is a food pantry for the needy so no matter who wins/loses the wager the pantry will be the winner.:rocker:

Against the spread, or a straight up win?

Either way, I'm in if a Colts fan wants to step up. $20 works for me.

Straight up. No spread involved.

Thanks for participating.

I'll step up. Sounds like fun and safer than shaving a flying Elvis on my head.

Aqua4Ever might want some of this action.

Put me down for $20.

Homergreg, done

Edited to add, green power for homergreg!

I'm down for $20 as well.

If the pats win I will donate a few beers to my belly in the charity's honor.

I'm in for $20
EDIT: I'm taking the Patriots

I'll put down anything between 15 and 30 bucks if anyone wants to take me up. I'm not someone who normally bets, but it's for a good cause, so I'm fine with that. I'm taking the Pats though. :D

I'm in for $40 because of the strong pound. Go Colts, er, I mean Pats. :D

Edit: I'm good for the money, regardless. Miguel, do they have a Pay Pal account or similar?

Unfortunately, they do not.

Going to be expensive sending a 40 pound package, Cat.:rocker:

I am good for $50

I'll take the Pats for $20, win or lose! (But of course, it better be win!).

how are these being matched up? id be in for some, but we are obviously gonna have more pats fans.. we need a thread with "confirmed bets" or something.... there is no sense in 50 pats fans saying im in... we need to match them w/colts fans' bets.
(and i do think it is a good idea that if indy wins, it goes to an indy charity.. do you guys have one to suggest?)

do YOU personally, miguel? that we could send it to, then you forward it to them? just trying to see how we can work this.

ps. to everyone... we have a lot of guests (indy fans)... sometimes it isnt clear (at least to me) which team you want... maybe add that if it isnt obvious in your name.

I think you just have to speak to it in your post. The way I'm reading it, I'm in against Homergreg. So if he!! freezes over and the Pats lose ;) ,I'll donate under his username and vice versa.

That said, the way the original post reads I think some people are just putting money on the line themselves based on who they think will win - no betting partner involved.

Ok this is a **** statement, but it seems to me that either way BOL of Mass is the winner. If the Colts win shouldn't the money go to an Indy based charity like GLeaners Food Bank?
