I was just saying 5 SB's for the 49ers...4 for Montana, 1 for good ole Steve Young

Gold Miner, how do people out on the West coast feel about Brady, I know alot of fans around the country don't like him and it's only due to jealousy. I was just curious what they think of him out there.

Well, most of them actually like him seeing as he was born here, but then you have some hater, mainly because of jealousy. But people pretty much like him here, but hate the Patriots.

Don't forget to thank the "god fearing" fine Mormon folk of Salt Lake for Steve Young!

It seems the Bay area produces the cream (Mr. Tom Brady) and the crap (Mr. Gold Miner 49) !

Ofcourse, I forgot about all the SD and Raider fans out there who can't stand us. But I don't think Niner fans have anything against us.

All of you Patriots fans should praise the Bay Area of California for spawning such a good QB, in fact he should play for his home team, the 49ers.

Isn't that the same team he absolutely wanted to play for but when they brought him in for a looksee they all decided he wasn't worth an outright pick? Maybe they would've taken him if he went undrafted but he was drafted - - - by the Pats.
We'll only thank you for passing on him 49er guy. :D

Stupid thread.

The 49ers are only relevant because we own their draft pick.

They will after they have to give us their top 10 pick in April!:D

Which brings up an interesting point. What happens if Miami actually pulls a few out...St. Louis wins a handful once Jackson comes back and the niners actually wind up with the worst record. We all know that is the last place that we want to be. My question to the people on here...what do we do? Try to trade out? It would be tough. Take who we want? But who wants to drop #1 money for a tackle from michigan? Any thoughts?

They didn't need him. They selected the immortal QB Giovanni Carmazzi with pick #65 in the third round that year. And then just to cover themselves they took the equally immortal Tim Rattay in the 7th.

Tackle from Michigan, how about a stud LB ??

I would like to thank the 49ers, in their infinite wisdom, for trading a 2008 top 10 pick and a 2007 4th rounder (which NE traded for Randy Moss) for a 2007 pick in the early 20s.

Laurinaitis (who, in my mind is the best ILB prospect this year) is not worth a top 5 pick unless he is allowed to wear his dad's shoulder pads.

The Patriots Super Bowls are tainted, and the 49ers are not.

Say what you will, bro. In April, not only will we have your 1st rounder, but another Lombardi Trophy.

This proves exactly why haters suck. That's his chick, dude. Who cares what she is to a bunch of jagons? That's someone's girl being disrespected by a bunch of losers trying to make coin off a shot of her. Seriously, how lame can people get? I mean, dang dude, it's his girl, who cares? He's clearly focused and getting it done just like any real man should...people should have the courtesey to leave his chick alone.

I read in "Moving the Chains" that Brady was a huge 49ers fan and was crushed when the niners did not pick him in the draft, even after they had made overtures to him. The book says the whole Brady family was quite upset about it and never quite forgave the niners for that. Thank goodness for Bill calling Brady up when he realised that Brady inexplicably was still on the board.

Only idiots believe the Super Bowls are tainted. Mike Martz doesn't believe so, and he was the coach of one of the teams. Let it go, you'll feel better.

Sorry to break the news but, Joe Montana>Tom Brady

49er's history>Patriots history

SORRY!

Ya umm, no? That's idiotic. Unless you all got together and had some type of mass orgy to conceive Brady, or used the combined genetics of all 49er greats to make Brady(like in Twins- hey, if Brady is Ahhnold than whose Devito? I vote Ryan Leaf) than you really don't have a leg to stand on.
I mean, all props to a once great dynasty, I'm sure it was a hell of a ride. If this is yourway of living vicariously through the Pats, then so be it. I wouldn't want to root for the Niners either.
But hey! At least your coach wears a suit! The media loves that! And as we all know, they are ALWAYS right!
