What a lucid, well written, non hater article that is; must suck being him. Just a tad bit over the top and talk about exagerating to make a point, but so be it.

I'd suggest switching to decaf, but even that won't help him.

Boston is currently the center of the sports universe. These things have a knack for going in the dumper overnight; I'm loving every second of this for as long as it lasts.

This guy's actually real funny. My favorite thing he did was the letter from Eli Manning, in which he said that "those aren't interceptions I'm throwing, they're FREAKING CALLS FOR HELP."

Loved this part:

"4. Own $1,000 worth of Red Sox merchandise, but no Patriots merchandise whatsoever. The lone exception: The Wes Welker jersey. Pats fans love Wes Welker because he’s white. Just like them! They also love Tedi Bruschi, because he’s kinda white. And hey, that’s not bad either."

Because it's true. Well, not the Wes Welker and white part. I love how this guy's from Connecticut and is harping on Boston as a racist town.

Actually, I decided this wasn't very funny. I can understand some of it, but the jokes have been made before. The Eli Manning one was original, this is just a rehash of old stuff. Yeah, this just isn't very good. I came into it with prejudice towards it being funny and left kind of underwhelmed. The low IQ humor of using a synonym for male genitalia every third word gets old after the first paragraph or two.

I guess the guy went to prep school in CT and college at Colby, like, 10 years ago. Apparently, that was enough for him to make broad generalizations about Boston's racism.

However this is just another example of a self indulgent, preppy who feels he is entitled to characterize a region he really knows NOTHING about. A rich preppy snot who didn't even go to college in the area, knows NOTHING about Boston except for the usual stereotypes.

Way to generallize, ya hate speach is always funny. Sure I don't live in Boston, (seacoast NH) but I sure as hell don't even know people that remotely sound like the people this ass is describing. I hate the pink hatters, just like everyone else, but that's about as far as it goes. I have several Pats Jerseys, and the only one that's a white player is Bledsoe. (CRAP-I don't think I have anyone that's on the team anymore!) Just my sox hat. That's the only thing a real Sox fan needs. Those Jerseys stain way too easy, and cost way too much. Screw that. They are all almost Yankee and Giant fans there, and every friggin state have people that act completely differently.

I don't know Ken. There was quite a bit of truth in there. It wasn't always the whole truth and a lot of it was exaggerated for a laugh but most of it rings true to me.

Yup, exactly. His blog would be nothing without the colorful language he uses to excite and titilate his probably-mostly juvenile readers. And did anyone read the reader comments? Almost all of them have that shallow seemingly-tongue-in-cheek-cleverness about them... you know they must be filtering out anything they don't want to hear in response. It was like watching one of those game shows in which they only allow certain hyper-personalities to participate in.
