Did you see that Colts D? Holy crap how did they stop the Jags run game when they had to contend with 2 prolific QBs like Garrard and Gray? I mean those are 2 helluva QBs that Jax offense is a juggernaut! I am in a corner shaking as I dictate this post to my wife(my hands are shaking too bad to type) I mean Garrard already had half a dozen tds, and that other guy was a beast as well Im sure maybe. How could they stop that running attack with those two behind center? And Jax always plays smart to did you see how they took 5 foot nothing Mojo Drew and ran him up the gut on 4th and one? Thats some gutsy playcalling Who coulda thunk that one up? And the Colts had the control enough not to fall down laughing and tackle him for a loss. What Im trying to say is we are doomed! Doomed I tell ya!

If the Jags were not stupid to let Leftwich go he would have come in and have been a capable replacement for Garrard,As a matter of fact I bet the Colts would have had to work for that win,Leftwich had played decent against Indy in his career.

I'm past shaking my muscles are all wore out. Tomorrow I'm digging out my white flag starching, and ironing it. Whats the use were finished...The Horror,The Horror,The Hor.........

I wasn just on Indystar.com Colt's forum, they already have "is this the greatest team EVER?" post up. Awesome nuggets of truth like the fact they win by an average of 16.8 points per game are posted and that they have the best d in the league. I was going to post an agrument but you can't argue with people that are delusional...

I don't know maybe they are right and Indy IS the best ever, after all didn't Indy just stop this future HOF QB like Quinn Gray last night?

Whos behind it Jilla?

whoever wins when indy meets NE in the playoffs, is the best team ever

problem solved, but no one has patience anymore

I'm thinking that after the season, Jack Del Rio will be the best dressed unemployed coach in football:p
I dont think he knows what he's doing.:snob:

That board is high comedy. They don't even mention anywhere in there victory talk of the Jags playing with probably the worst backup QB in the league. He was absolutely horrible.

I'm not knocking the Colts defense....I think it has improved to some extent....but when was the last time they faced a TRULY balanced offense that you could run playaction pass effectively against them.

Jags - Lost there average (to begin with) starting QB

Bucs - Jeff Garcia is not bad....but Cadillac didn't play

Broncos - Walker didn't play (no wide receivers)

Titans - please...Vince Young and no wide outs

Houston - played without there top running back and wideout

Saints - should have happened...but something is wrong with them.

Going back to last season

Bears - please....Rex Grossman

Pats - the offense put 31 points on them with Caldwell and Gaffney

Ravens - one of the worst offenses ever

Chiefs - Herm Edwards decided he would just run against a nine man front all game

I just realized there really isn't any good teams anymore:mad:

The fact is, you could go through all 31 teams, and have reasons why they are not worthy adversaries, but then turn around in the next breath, and tell us why your schedule is more difficult.

I'm not going to list your opponents, but they are not exactly world beaters.

I just have to say that I read indyStar all the time but never post. I'm glad you are here so I can say thank you to you. Man, they beat you up all the time and you always hang tough. No matter how many facts you present, they still cannot process information. So, as a Pats fan, thank you. Thank you for always sticking up for our team. I want to beat my head on the wall reading their foolishness and you just keep on plugging. I truly don't know how you do it.

I agree totally....no one is saying the Colts have a bad defense....
I am also well aware the Pats haven't played anyone decent other than the Cowboys.

I just think to many Colt fans look at what the Colts defense did in a game like last night...and think the Pats are going to get shut down just the same.

You realize the reason it is posted, right? Colts fans sound foolish on their board, but you ballwashers are sane over here??

Well, anyone who jumps in that boat is not being very realistic. But the word was we'd get run over by the Jags again. Word was our D is still bad. Word was we lost 4-5 starters on defense, by definition, we can't be better. Word was we have "x" number of guys who have never even seen an NFL field. Word was we would suffer a SB hangover.

Meanwhile, it is finally being realized that the Colts are in fact better, more physical and quicker on defense than we have been in the past.

Will it be enough? I don't know, but clearly they have come to play this season.

You can honestly say with a straight face that idiots like Jilla are perfectly rational? Look around this board and I see more threads with respect to the Colts and Peyton. There was a 3 page thread the other day about how much people really like and appreciate Peyton. Can you find one like that over there? Nope, Brady is gay is what you get. Spygate, Brady's illigitimate kid (and Marvin's kid is what? immaculate conception?). Whenever somebody presents actual facts to present their argument, they are either ignored, or yet another excuse is made for how it can't be possible.

Sorry....this always bugs me... immaculate conception = conceived without original sin, not being conceived without a human father..

Carry on.

You are correct, point taken.

Wow! I learned something new today. Immaculate Conception != Virgin Birth

I guess I don't believe in immaculate conception after all. Thanks for enlightening me on this topic.
