I don't watch college ball at all so i don't know anything about the college players, but i do know Darren McFadden is the top RB. AP is tearing it up this year... i'm drooling at the possibility we can get someone of AP's calibre.

not as good imo..hes more versatile though catching/passing but Peterson is the best RB to come out in a few years.

And even he looked pretty mortal last night stumbling back to earth while fumbling away the game for his team...

As a prospect he ranks higher. Peterson has proven to be elite but he wasn't super-hyped coming into the draft (the same way Bush was) and didn't even really fall.

the reason he wasnt super hyped was because durability..he had a lot of injury questions. he wouldnt be as hyped as Bush because Reggie was just a crazy athlete with his speed/agility/receiving/etc while if u look at tape or watch Adrian in college..hes been the best back. had he avoided a collarbone injury..i would say hes a top 3 pick

If this Ronnie Brown injury is worse than expected, McFadden will be a Dolphin.

I love McFadden but that scenario would be a crushing blow - upgrading from Brown to McFadden is one of the smallest upgrades the Dolphins could use this high pick for.

hardly an upgrade imo. Brown is a proven player..hes done it all for the Dolphins.

But even if you assume it's an upgrade, a top five pick upgrading from your best player is not moving the franchise in the correct direction.

Yeah like Remix says, he's not an upgrade. Ronnie is hands down top 5 in the leauge right now and a proven commodity. He HAS to return to full strength for the Fins to have any hope in the next 3 years.

It all depends on how serious the injury is.
Is this something you can just rehab away or is it a Robert Edwards career ender?

LOL! Are you serious?
Cleo Lemon is a stiff and nothing more than a journeyman quarterback. If you believe Lemon is the quarterback of the future for the Dolphins, then you are truly a blind homer.

Man, I know it's not very neighborly of me, but watching Aqua "The Fins are finally ready to take the AFC East" flopping around deciding whether to be loyal to the ACL guy, call for the pothead's return, or burn another first rounder on the SAME skill position, is just comical.

I mean, seems like yesterday he was ready to crown the victorious Culpepper-lead Dolphins perreniel super bowl contenders.... that is so far from 0-7...

By the way Aqua, did you ever pay that bet?

umm, if the fins sellect macfadden, i wont be surprised, chalk it up as another amazing first round blunder (they DID after all draft Ginn...)

and we have to see how their rookie does the rest of the season b4 we conlcude if they need another QB...

I like McFadden, but am I the only person who's noticed he's built more like a WR than a RB?

I'm not talking about Cleo Lemon. I'll let you research the 2007 NFL draft then get back to me.

Actually, I'll give you a clue. Look down.

The season is lost for the Miami Dolphins so why continue to play the Lemonhead at quarterback?

A 26 year old rookie is the Fins QB of the future. Here's to hoping he's better than Chris Weinke.
