Brady is on pace to post 60 TD's.

If this happens then Brady will have tossed, in one single season, 1 less TD than Tony Eason tossed in his entire career.

Oh, how things on the QB front changed for us all ........

62, in fact.

It's truly astonishing.

60 is conservative. Our schedule is getting tougher, and teams are scoring more and more points. Both of our running backs are injured. This means Tom will have to average 5 touch downs per game from now on. I say 65 TD is more realistic. You also have to remember that none of our receivers, including gaffney, have very much experience playing with Brady. As the players feel more comfortable with each other, good things will happen. Another important thing to note is that in prior years, Brady had to force the plays, which made his stats underappreciated by voters of the MVP award. Now, Brady's receivers are as competent as he is so he is actually working and stressing less. This is important because he's not sweating or running up the score to get those 5 or 6 TD's a game--he's just throwing the ball to the most open man like he always does, but this year, his receivers are catching them more often, are open more often, and get more yards after the catch than ever.

I don't think he'll break Manning's record; Brady won't get to play in domes all of November and December.

Brady has built up a big enough cushion to only need to score 2.5 TDs a game to beat Manning's record. You gotta assume he will score at least 2-3 TDs a game the rest of the way (possibly having a clunker along the way). So he should still beat Manning's record barring a major collapse, but he might not smoke the record.

He won't need to. October isn't over yet and November starts in a dome and is often not a bad weather month even in Buffalo and Philly pre turkey day. He will be +40 minimum before it's off to Baltimore to start December before we play 3 in a row at home, including one against the JETS in which we may score triple digits. Away to the Giants just before New Year's could be messy, but by then we will do what we need to do to close out the regular season.

I hope you guys are right. Let's see how it goes this week against a good secondary. 2+ TD this week and I'm on the bandwagon for breaking the record.

My prediction is that going into the bye week Brady will have at least close to 35 TDs or have 35 TDs...Becuz to beat the Colts he need to have a monster game like he had in Dallas or Miami.

I think he will - he only has to average 2.44 per game the rest of the way to tie - it's hard to imagine he won't be able to do that with the group of receivers he has.

The Jets will have one man on the D line and will let us run all over them just to stop the pass and just to keep the Pats out of the record books. They know they'll lose -- they'd rather lose via Maroney than Moss.

The JETS are beginning to turn on each other and tune out their immature HC. They can't or won't execute his game plans when it matters, so I doubt they will when it doesn't.

Belichick will make this another Miami scrimmage, only with additional emphasis on defense.

wow 65 touchdowns would be wild :O
