the more I see of this man, the more I think: a) he is a surefire Hall of Famer, despite his unprofessional respites the last two years in Oakland, and b) he has the best hands of a receiver in the game today.

I can't help but think that, regardless of the outcome, the Patriots should have let someone else deal with his potential flameout. In their quest for the greatest offseason in the Cap Era (which the Patriots might have won before the Moss trade), I think New England went one step too far.
Moss was once a lock for Canton. Now he might be a lock to be football's version of Dwight Gooden, a great player who flamed out through nobody's fault but his own.

Wow, just wow.

......although, I must admit, I was saying the same things back in April.

BB/Pioli/Kraft/Brady deserve a LOT of credit here.

I will admit that I did not want him either.

Yeah, but you were saying them on a message board, not as a seven figure NFL Insider for SI. And they wonder why mere football fans call them mediots.

Well.........I'm not currently with SI ;)

Yea,and next week Peter"I just got off the phone from(insert NFL player/coach here)and they said" King will think he's a jerk.....

I am not so sure that Moss, right now, is a sure fire HOFer, because of his "baggage", but that is why I am very confident he will stay here, because he knows that with a few seasons with Brady his numbers will be through the roof, not to mention the possbility of Super Bowl rings.

And, for the record, I was estatic when they got Moss, I knew he was going to be great. I totally underestimated Welker and Morris, but not Moss.

Well I'm glad to say I knew Randy Moss would be a stud here all along and when I heard they they got him I said right there they could go 16-0. I wanted him when the rumors started last year. I knew if he bought into the Pats Winning Kool Aid that he could be a great fit for this team.

I have to admit, I never thought it would be this incredible or that Moss would be this good. As positive as I was, I am still amazed. I must say I never knew he was THIS good.

I don't care if he is a sure-fire HOFer or not. Bottom line, he is without a doubt one of the Top 5 receivers of all-time, if not the best. Only a hater or somebody who has no clue would argue that.

If he finishes the year like he started, he'll score 23 TD's (which breaks Rice's Record). Let say he doesn't and cools way down and only scores 8-9 more, that still be a personal best 18-19. Barring injury, he'll certainy be WAAAAAAAY north of 1200 yds too.

At this point in his career;

- That'd be 7/10 years above 1200 yd's
- 4/10 years with 15 plus TD's

Plus, he's got a few more years to go. I mean really, I don't care if the guy is a convicted felon, those are BEYOND HOF numbers.

I wonder whatever happened to Mr Borges? I seem to recall his final screed was an "expose" heavily quoting his Oakland sources about what a burn-out Randy Moss had become. What a fitting end to a miserable career!

YET ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF WHY PETER KING IS A TOTAL **** LOSER:

3. Tony Romo, QB, Dallas. Is it my imagination, or does Romo lead the league in smiling?

What are you, my F-ing MOM? What an ass.
