Howdy....

-So i was really excited to go to this game and it definitely did not disappoint. I kept checking the weather yesterday and this morning and it said rain/storms but the rain never came. it was very very hot. like 90 Degrees and sunny.
I look like a godamn raccoon right now b/c i didn't bring sun screen. Doesn't matter, anything for the pats.....

-While wearing my white Seymour jersey, eating a hotdog and having a beer with my old man, some short lady with a phins jersey comes up and says "did you bring your camera?". We both had no clue what this filthy animal was talking about and i was distracted by her lack of personal hygiene, especially in the dental department. I just stared at her for a second, not nice, not mean, but just looked and figured that this must be Aqua's girlfriend. I then continued eating my hotdog and she left. A second after she walked away i got it but who gives a crap. And now i am certain that this comment of hers was scripted and she was told to say this by a boyfriend or another 9-toothed buffoon. She really didn't know what she was talking about and you could see it in her eyes. It's funny, i defend the pats constantly with this spygate crap and the first time a stranger gives me crap about it it goes right over my head.

-We sat on the bottom corner section 106 and the seats were nice and close but you can't really tell much of what's going on in terms of yardage on the plays

-The stadium appeared to only be 80% full... and at least 25% of the people there were pats fans. it could easily be more.

-Moss's catches were ridiculous. People were shocked that he caught those balls and we needed to check the jumbotron megascreen or whatever the hell you want to call it. Unfortunately, he caught them in the far endzone so i didn't get a close look but i've never seen anyone pull the crap that guy does. Ever. he's amazing. I honestly thing that this week Brady practiced getting more air under the balls and slightly under throwing as opposed to overthrowing. He's just starting to get used to these weapons.

-Welker is the man. umm yeah, that's about it. It looked so easy and he pretty much ran the same route over and over. good stuff. I'm becoming a big fan of his.

-Ronnie Brown is good, if it's true he tore is ACL that sucks.
-Jason Taylor is skinnier than he looks on tv.
-Keith Traylor is just as fat as he looks on tv.

-oh yeah, the Kyle Brady TD catch on the goal line play was right and front of us and that was one amazing throw. Absolutely perfect.

-Boston fans in our section kept chanting "lets go red sox"... over and over and over. It was actually pretty funny. the pats had the game won and they were just screwing around. Could you actually hear that on tv? I skimmed another thread that mentioned the same thing

-I may get crap for this, but i don't care. Cleo Lemon does not look bad. He didn't look bad at all.

well i think that's it, if i think of something else ill edit it in.

I agree Lemon didn't look bad at all. He didn't make any mistakes and looked pretty composed out there.

I enoyed that post, Keegs. Thanks. Any pics?

How are the women in Miami? Hot, eh?

I was at the game also and had great seats 5 rows behind the goalpost where the players enter/exit the stadium and could actually look inside the tunnel. My son and I got to our seats around 11:30 to watch the early warmups and do the sport hero worship thing. My first impressions were: Kyle Brady is enormous, Assante is an amazing athlete with some spring in his leap, Stallworth should be the backup QB the way he zinged the ball around, Robert Kraft has one fine taylor, and my favorite pregame moment= We yelled to Maroney in the tunnel if he was "Go or No Go" ...and he gave us the all clear wink. More to come.

did the stadium empty out after halftime? there seemed to be alot of empy seats.

Cleo didn't play too bad against Cleveland either. I've got tickets to see the Pats in Buffalo next month. Can't wait. This game was over at halftime. And, if anyone tried to make an analysis about what happened in the 2nd half. You are wasting your time. I go to a lot of college games. This was like one of those PSU/Temple games. Where PSU creams them in the first half. Joepa lets off the gas. The other team gets a couple of gimmes and gives the locals something to ***** about.

Good post keegs.....was that toothless beeyatch the only "fan" that gave you crap? When I was down there a few years ago watching the pats....was sitting in the endzone with two friends of mine that were pats fans, and one that was a Miami fan.....and we almost got into several fights.......They were giving our friend the Miami fan...crap for hanging out with us!!! We were actually very calm during that game too.....as I recall Miami beat us 7-6....this was still the Bledsoe era (98-99?)

I don't recall fans at Gillette giving the opponents fans alot of crap unless they were obnoxious? Is that right....or just about as bad??? thanks again Keegs!

I didn't have any problems with any fans. Even the 9-toothed-wonder wasn't mean or anything, just being stupid.

The two dolphin fans sitting next to me were funny. they kept making fun of the chambers trade and saying crap like this... "hey, i love our new strategy, we are just giving away all our good players and seeing what happens". not that funny on paper but the way they said it really made me laugh out loud. it was fun making fun of crap with them.

There was some obnoxious dolphin fan yelling stupid crap like 12 rows back but i could barely hear him and there was another obnoxious pats fan 2 rows back doing the same thing but for us so it evened out the b.s.

There was a "near fight" in the endzone in the section to our right.
Everyone started standing up and looking that way so i stood up and saw some guy (im guessing a phin fan) yelling at another dude (pats fan?). all they were doing was arguing and yelling. Then security showed up from all angles. Then as soon as the yellow shirt security guys are there and it's clear that nobody is fighting (unless they wanna stay in jail), everyone turns into toughguys with resumes full of submission techniques and streetfights. It was pretty funny how it escalated into "toughguy mode" as soon as it was clear that nothing was going to happen b/c of security being there.
so yeah, nothing happened and i just sat back down b/c it was stupid and watched the game. I don't know if anyone got kicked out.

interesting stuff, keegs. Thanks for posting.

You were just over whelmed by either by her beuty and her southern charm ,or the fragrance of a flower of the South. Other wise it would never have gone over your head. :D Yeah, thats the ticket.
