Won't stay there. Dilfer can't play every game unfortunately.
Edit: will say though they don't have to many games that you can pencil in Ws, if any.
Actually, because SOS is taken into account, I think it's somewhere around 6 or 7 (the Raiders, for example, have played a worse schedule to date). But your basic point still stands. :rocker:
You are assuming that Mangini will still be around next spring.Wouldn't be something if we get a better pick than the Jets. mangigi would demand more sanctions agianst the Patriots

Why so much talk of the trade down for multiple picks?. First off, there is a chance that the first round pick next year is going to have to step up and be a defensive starter with the future of Seau, Bruschi, and Samuel in limbo.
I understand the money the top 10 picks are demanding now but you have to consider if BB/SP see someone they like, we are talking abou the next Richard Seymour to be a defensive staple for the next 6 years.
Before people get too happy, remember that with 7 teams tied at 2-4 it would be just as accurate to say the "Patriots pick from Niners currently ELEVENTH".As of right now, the Pats first round pick from the Niners would be the 5th overall.
Even with Smith at QB they haven't thrown for over 200 yards in their last 18 games, he doesn't worry me at all.Won't stay there. Dilfer can't play every game unfortunately.
