Lock it in folks! This one is a no-brainer.
One of the greatest QBs of all time is having one of the greatest seasons of all time.
All he needed were some weapons to play with.
Brady with weapons is finally proving what New England fans have known all along, that he is the BEST QB in today's NFL. Yes even better than that Manning fellow.

Enjoy the ride folks. The Pats march on history continues and Brady is going to shatter the recordbooks along the way!
Here are the MVP stats through 7 games.

169 completions, 229 attempts, 73.8 completion percentage, 9.3 YPA, 27 TD, 2 INT, 137.9 QB rating

Best 7 game stretch ever by a quarterback? I'd love to see someone go through the records and see if that's the case. It wouldn't surprise me.

Funny to see we haven't had a Colts troll contradict me yet. They must be equally awed by Brady's season thus far. :)

I agree. Manning might have matched the TDs somehow but there's no way he had a better TD to INT ratio in a 7 game stretch. I mean 13.5 TD to INT ratio! That is cyborg-like precision!!

Yea there really can be very little opposition here. Hands down the best 7 game stretch on his way to the best season ever for a QB. I really am in awe of this guy and cannot wait to see this match up with my boys next week.

What is that like 1 INT per 114.5 attempts..... wow.....

give um time.

Or maybe they are scared of getting embarrassed by the Jags?
I wonder how confident they can be going into the November game if they managed to besmirch their record before the big confrontation? :)

Either way I feel good about Brady's chances against that Colts secondary. I'm thinking a 5 TD game feels about right.

 I think they just announced that the NFL will not be giving any more awards to Tom Brady , because its just unfair... So No more awards till the end of the season for Tom Brady and the Pats

We've played 7 weeks. They've been an awesome 7 weeks...but they are still 7 weeks.

Sorry, but an MVP title for Brady will be empty without the Super Bowl ring. We said for years that Manning can have all the MVP titles and Brady will have all the rings.

I really hope Brady walks away with the MVP, but I think he is far more focused on the Lombardi Trophy.

Sorry to throw a little cold water on the discussion especially since Brady is on track to the best performance by a QB in a season ever.

Lets enjoy the book and not get to the ending in all seriousness...

- Never scared of J-Ville.

- Half season MVP is Brady for sure. He'll likely continue the pace, so he deserves it.

You noticed the hypocrisy also?

Just another stupid Colts fan. There's no hypocrisy, enjoying a great player. People still want the Lombardi way more than any individual record, or award. Doesn't mean we can't look forward to both.

No. I am just saying that it is an empty thing if Brady wins the MVP and not the Super Bowl. No one has won either this season. If Brady wins the MVP and not the Super Bowl, then come back and talk to us.

Who says he can't have both the Lombardi and the MVP?
This is his best year so far. And Brady has won 3 superbowls with the Pats with much weaker supporting casts.

I'm sure that BRADY is not focused on the MVP. He just cares about winning. But it is perfectly fine for the fans to talk about it. He has been sensational and I think that the MVP talk is well deserved.

Here's a juicy stat for you, Tom Brady is the first QB EVER to start the season throwing at least 3 TDs each game in 7 straight games.
Brady is also the FIRST Patriots QB in franchise history to throw 6 TDs in a game. Sorry Grogan, your record had been broken.

You're just a stupid Pats fan. I mean what a lame argument, i wouldn't even use that.

Brady can have the MVP. Manning would rather get the Super Bowl MVP again.

We have always asked what could Tom Brady do with great receivers like Manning has had his entire career. Would Brady put up Manning like #'s?

No he puts up ridiculous off the charts #'s. Brady > Manning and one more SB for Tom will confirm it.

Yup 7 weeks of padding stats and playing weak defenses and that makes him better than Peyton, because he has better stats. Makes sense to me.

You mean like the two Brady has? In his three winning trips there? See, that's difference. Brady's doing all this after he's won a whole bunch, Colts fans were polishing Mr. Fivehead's knob before he'd won anything. Which is why there's no hypocrisy, and the average Colts fan is a mouthbreather. Funny you'd accuse the greatest winner and by far best quarterback in the NFL today, Tom Brady, of wanting the MVP more than the Lombardi, despite your inbred of a quarterback playing a style for years that netted him the regular season trophy and denied him the postseason one.
