i know pats are 2 TD favorites but its miami so its always a problem. What are the keys to the game ?
my 2 cents
a)Win the kicking game. The pats seem to be missing mitchell. Last week's long return was saved by harrison. This week its Ted Ginn. We dont want this to his breakout gam on returns.
b)Protect Brady. For some weird reason i dont know why our o line is jittery against miami.Fins are not as talented as the cowboys but play similar 3-4 scheme. We need to protect brady early to calm down some nerves.I expect miami to play a lot of man to man with the safties deep as usual to see if they can pressure brady.
c)Stop ronnie brown. this is obvious. We have had breakdowns while stop the run sometimes. Cam cameron will get creative in some fashion to get him the ball.

i think this game will be closer than people think-just because its miami- kinda like those ugly wins but i wont be disappointed with it. Its just hard to win in miami for the pats .

i think we just need to stop ronnie brown, nothing else really needs to be done...

if our pass game doesnt work (very long odds), well just run over them like the rest of their opponents with our 4th and 5th stringers...

but i doubt miami will be able to pressure brady tomorow, i doubt it big time

just stop ronnie, and u stop the team

Looks like the Fins have some extra knowledge of our OL techniques that make it easy for them to disrupt our offense. Whether or not that is true, my 2 cents:

1. Our offense - assume pocket breaks down within three seconds and so pass/run immediately or dispose ball quickly. I don't want Brady or other guys get hurt!! No huddle for the entire 1Q maybe?

2. Our defense - attempt to stop their running game make Lemon throw.

Keys to the game?
Don't miss the bus to the stadium.

(I just hate it when i'm uppity!)

LOL My first thought was show up...

Games at the Meadowlands used to be tough too. Things change. Teams change. The only way they don't win this one big is if Bill allowed them to become complacent this week and they play their sloppiest, turnover laden game of the season for all 4 quarters. Because absent that they are just to talented to lose to this Miami team even on an off week.

Miami has raised the white flag of rebuild. I doubt guys like Taylor and Thomas and even Porter will be looking to injure themselves to prove a moot point (that they are better than the team they are stuck on in surrender mode) because the body of their work has proved that over time and now they have a vested interest in getting/staying healthy in the hope they can finagle their way out of town, in Taylor and Thomas' case ala Ray Borque without looking like traitors, after celebrating New Year's Eve on South Beach...

My thinking on this game has evolved a bit over the last couple days, based on the Miami trade, Taylor's (alleged?) comments, etc. They're a team that feels done. Along with that, the Pats seem very aware of their past troubles down there, and seem poised to avoid a letdown. I think the Pats will get their 30+, hold the Dolphins to 10-14, and away we go.

Oh, and here's a weird thought that just occurred to me--this unusually warm weather this fall in the northeast should help the Pats down there. It'll be the mid-eighties, which won't be all that radically a difference from what they're used to. Go global warming!!
