As a football fan since 1972, I know how difficult that achievement would be.

But for some reason, I almost find myself rooting for ya'll to do it. I guess maybe it's just so my Cowboys can whip your arse in the superbowl.

Aside from that fantasy...seriously...can ya'll do it?

There's been some talk about how the Pats are 2-5 the last 7 games in Miami...pffft.....You guys could draw 22 names out of a hat and only travel with them and beat the stinkin Dolphins.

Think about it.....UNDEFEATED....If I were a Pats fan I'd be stoked as he11.

It's not gonna happen though...If the 1989 Cowboys can win "A" game....then the Pats will lose a game. It's just too hard to do.

Thoughts?

Nope. I wish we did but with the Colts, Steelers and NFC East it just isn't going to happen.

My pick for first loss is when we play Pittsburgh with us coming off a road MNF game at Baltimore. Two tough, physical teams with a short week - it's a recipe for disaster :(

are you joking ? undefeated means no losses moron regular season and playoffs!

I think times are different then they were when Miami went undefeated. I remember that season and there was a lot of hype. But I think the hype surrounding the pats if they went 16-0 this year would be almost unimaginable. I think any team would have problems focusing under those circumstances. Is it possible? Ya, almost all things are possible. But I don't think it's probable. I just think the scrutiny would be extremely hard to handle.

No, I think players on the team should want to lose at least 1 game. Maybe 2? If nothing else just to keep the ultimate goal manageable. I think things could get OOC for any team that went 16-0. That said, all things considered? If in this day and age, there is a team that's setup to handle the EXTREME pressure and make that run, it may be the pats.

Bottom line? I don't think the pats go undefeated. I don't think they want to go undefeated.

I'm going to be your first yes on this.

1. I think they want to go undefeated.
2. I think they will.
3. I think Brady grabs Manning's TD record.
4. I think Moss grabs a couple of Rice records.
5. If #3 happens, Brady'll get the QB rating record as well.

I wasn't sure about the 3, 4, and 5 until I've been following our RB situation. With injuries (which will hang on even after the players are back) I think we're going to be throwing the ball alot.

Lets not wait for the finish, and just enjoy the middle of the book before the end is written...:)

who cares if they go undefeated rit now? i dont...

ill care AFTER the season is OVER, after we win the SB (hopefully)

rit now i just dont care...i sure would like it, but i dont care...

however, the point about a MNF game against Baltimore and then the steelers is a good one...it IS a recipe for disaster

Injuries will crop up, and decisions will have to be made about how long the starters stay in games in middle to late December. It would be nice but there are too many variables to contend with and the emphasis has to say on going into January as healthy as possible. so no I don't think 16 - 0 is going to happen but if they beat the colts they will probably go 15 -1, or 14 - 2 depending on whether or not that last game against the Giants means a damn thing.

NO, it's just to difficult and all that matter is a bowl win.

Nah, I'd be surprised if the Pats went undefeated. Everyone has a bad day and I suspect that Pats will drop a game somewhere along the way to week 17.

I predicted the Pats to go 15-1 before the season started. I'm sticking with that.

hmm, but the difference between 15-1 and 16-0 is a little small, wouldnt u agree?

Very small. Insignificant in fact.....especially if they bring home the big prize in February!

It's the home field advantage I'm concerned with.
