FINS GIVE PATS A LITTLE BULLETIN BOARD MATERIAL

Usually, it's hard for a 6-0 team to find ways to get itself pumped up when facing an 0-6 team.

Miami linebacker Channing Crowder has made that process a bit easier for the New England Patriots.

In an interview posted October 18 on the team's web site, Crowder initially says all the right things about the Pats. But then Crowder pops off a bit about the team that is giving the Fins 17 points.

"I don't think we should be any underdog," he said. "I don't think the team's that much better than us."

It's not really earth-shattering stuff. But for a team that needs every once of potential motivation that it can find when getting ready to face one of the worst teams in the league, Channing's comments can't hurt.

And thanks to the reader who pointed this out to us. There's only so much time for us to track this stuff down, and the process is easier when our audience helps direct us to the more interesting nuggets.

Crowder, by the way, crammed his foot into his chowder hole last month before the Fins played the Raiders. Regarding Oakland quarterback Daunte Culpepper, who would account for five touchdowns against his most recent former team, Crowder said, "He's still limping around. He's not 100 percent. He's still not the Daunte Culpepper of back with Minnesota."

And I don't think Brad Pitt is that much better looking than me either. Maybe I should give Angelina Jolie a call.

He can run his mouth as long as he becomes one of our starting ILBs in 2009.

They're both dumb. They might as well paint targets on their backs.

Chaning's brain is crowded (with loose boulders).

I still think Crayton is dumber. The Dolphins are 4-2 against Brady and he is saying it before the game starts. Crayton just finished being on the wrong endof an old fashioned butt kicking and tried to make it seem like a fluke.

But T.O. is the dumbest of all with his "They aren't the best" comment

The Pats proved Dallas who's their real Daddy. Now Miami luck has run out. What real harm can the Dolphins do to us? Chambers gone and Jason Taylor feeling left out we got the upperhand. Its not their fav place to play but they'll win this one. So "bring your popcorn"!

We have plenty of motivation. That 21-0 asswhoping the Fins gave us in Dophin Stadium last year and their admittance to "purchasing" stolen audible videos, which they used to gain an obvious competitive advandage. Hmm, that sounds familar for some reason...

Brady and Belichick will be ready to take heads on Sunday.

What is he supposed to say before the game? "I don't like our chances. There's no way we can beat the Patriots. We're not nearly as good as them." That would sound stupid before the game and his team would stuff him into a locker. Now if he said that after the spankin they're about to get, that would be different!

Did anyone say he should have said that?? Of course not... No you shut the heck up and say little..and NOTHING that will be bulletin board material.

That's nowhere near bulletin board material. Compared to the sh-t they've already got on the board already, this doesn't rate. Maybe in another season.

I don't know about being ready to take any heads, but this Miami team is a shadow of it's former self. My prediction is Brady will have 3-4 TD's by the 3rd quarter and sitting for the 4th, I hope any ways. The f'n Dolphins always make me nervous!
