Gillette Stadium: Are standing room only tickets worth it?

Hi guys... I need some advice. I've never been to Gillette Stadium and I have some family coming in from out of town. I would like to buy some tickets but the only ones I see are in the upper corners of the stadium and so-called "standing room only" tickets.

Are they worth it? What kind of restrictions do they have? Is it possible to enjoy a game from the public areas?

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

We need a FAQ on this monthly question.
You need to get to your area early to get an unobstructed front view unless you're 6'6" and you absolutely need to have have a large buddy hold your spot when you leave for the bathroom or whatever. Walking around in the public areas you can't see jack.

Standing Room tix are not worth it unless you really want to see a Pats game live.

To me, no. I need to rest my bones and if you move, you've lost your spot. You also have to contend with people slowly creeping into your space if you're in a good spot.

If you are young and in great shape (like me ) then they are def worth it. Just do what the other guys said and have a buddy with you to hold your spot when you go to the pisser.

Also, get there a little early and stake your claim...id say about 1hr before kick-off atleast.

Yo, exactly. Us older guys with prostrate (sic) issues can't hack the standing room tix.
