Maroney had better be 100% by Nov. 4th..

I say rest Maroney as long as necessary to leave no doubt he's completely healed 100 percent.

I'd say do what the Colts did with Bob Sanders last year. Bring him back for the Colts game, even if he's not 100%, and if he needs more time after that than keep resting him. But he has to play for the Colts game, as it will likely decide home field advantage for the postseason.

Sounds right. If it is, good scoop by Tomase ...

Fellers,

That's a right painful injury. It hurts just to breath when you injure those parts.

Man, he definately has my best wishes.

Respects,

Wish him a speedy recovery!

I agree..painful..and what is weird is is that it gets hurting worse as time goes on...a few weeks down the line...I was in a very minor accident years ago...and a seat belt basically drove a tie clasp against my chest...mucho pain there..hurt with every breath..and a few weeks later...more so..worse..and then gone...

I agree with this, do we really need him for Miami ?? I'd say rest Richard too even if he's ready to play, let them both play against Washington to work out the rust and have them ready for Indy. The game with Dallas was big for Dallas, the Indy game is big for us !! We need that win to ease into the playoffs.

I dont think we should sit Sey if he is ready. However I do think they should ease him in with a few plays if he can go in Miami.

This is double-true. Not that Maroney must play, but that the game decides home field. Either team could lose to Pittsburgh or Jacksonville or whoever else, and if they win Nov. 4 they get home field advantage due to the tiebreaker of head-to-head record. In a sense, our Pittsburgh game doesn't matter, as long as we beat the Colts. (Unless Pittsburgh goes 15-1).

Maroney is never 100%. This is why I wanted to draft a RB higher in April.

I agree with you. The homer's dont want to hear it. Maroney has durability issues.

just curious danny who did you want instead of maroney?

The "other" guy. His last name begins with an A and he plays for alien face.

You mean the player who just missed a game prior to his team having a bye? He's made of glass.

Terrible!!

Addai rushed for over 1000 yards last year, and played in all 16 games. Addai has missed one game this season while Maroney has already missed three. Addai carries the ball more then Maroney and is a actual feature back.

If Maroney only missed on game this season and did not have a history of always being nicked up I would not say what I say. So lets recap. Addai rushed for more yards in his rookie season , was never hurt, and has only missed one game this year while being the colts feature back. Maroney has missed three games already( on baby carries ), missed time last year, and had shoulder surgery in the off season. Hmm ok.

I like Maroney's talent, but he is not very durable.

Actually, Addai was playing injured last season even though he was splitting carries on his team in the same manner that Maroney was splitting carries on the Patriots. I'm sorry, Danny, but you've been a complete idiot about this since the beginning and your pimping of Addai just proves the point.

Oh, yeah......

Yes. "Never." Good call.

Between this and the Meriweather thread - which is looking more and more like it wasn't satire - you are cluelessly wasting space here.

Addai's a nice player, better than I thought. He also runs against the F-ing NICKLE every time. He NEVER faces 8 in the box.

One doesn't have to be a "homer" to think your take on Maroney is over-the-top. Yes, we think there's a durability concern there, but it's also early to make sweeping proclamations. And your continual dredging it up - now in a thread about MORRIS'S injury - is pathetic and annoying.

Don't be a tool and hijack every thread to throw your little petulant tantrums. You have taken up plenty of space on this site with your hysterics on all topics Maroney.
