Just checking in with you guys to talk about the massacre, I mean game this Sunday. So let's get through the jokes and the poking fun quickly and get to brass tax.

I really hope there isn't anyone who is really concerned about playing Miami on Sunday even though NE has traditionally has problems in Miami. If there is I'm guessing you just haven't seen the 2007 fins in action yet and rest assured you will feel differently about 5 minutes into the game. I heard Belechick talking good about the Dolphins on WEEI and I wanted to laugh out loud. The Miami defense is pitiful and the Patriots could and should have their best offensive game to date. I hope Cassel is ready to go because we should see him about halfway through the 3rd quarter when the game is out of reach. Let me put it this way, the 2004 Dolphins who upset the Patriots, would absolutely rout the 2007 team. That's right even AJ Feeley would light up this defense.

The 2007 Patriots simply have the best players in the NFL and if they don't win the Super Bowl I'd have to consider it the biggtest choke job in sports history.

Enjoy the massacre.

I'd normally be nervous if a typical Pats team were playing a typical Fins team. The problem here is this isn't a typical Pats team and this isn't a typical Fins team. Miami will fight hard, but will probably get run out of the building in the third quarter.

I'm worried about Welker, Morris and Chambers.......... Those guy kill us every year............. Um, never mind ;)

Seriously, you can never overlook an opponent, but I'm quite sure that BB has ingrained into the brains of every player that this team (Dolphins) was the last team to hand us a truly HUMILIATING loss, in that fiasco last year.

I say they come to play........... Oh yeah, expect a EFF you TD late in the game for buying our audibles last year and then bragging about it later.

Well Saban is gone anyway. Also not to be a smart ass but that just goes to show you how much knowing another teams plays can effect a game. Does anyone here think the 06 fins were 21-0 better than the 06 Pats?

The @MIA game is the one that I have the least confidence each year when looking down the schedule. All factors considered that is still true for the games so far this year.

Brady can go a long way towards making me believe this start by not having a typical @MIA day this Sunday.

Here's to hoping.

I'm sorry.

Yeah me to, its sad to see that you are 0 - 6, and that will most likely be turned into 0 - 7 this sunday. Because I think that you have an experienced and solid QB and a pretty ok roster F.ex. players like Taylor, Booker and Chambers. But now Trent Green is injured to....the bricks just seems to be falling down on you this season :bricks:
But one thing you got in Florida, Miami is the sunny weather even in the cold winters in Europe, you have like 30 degrees over there !!!
So one place I like to visit besides Foxborough and Gillette Stadium is your sunny state !!! :)

If he does I'd be shocked. Miami can't generate a pass rush vs subpar teams and can't cover subpar WR's. I wish I were exaggerating but I'm not. 3rd downs for Miami fans have been painful and the distance hasn't even mattered. 3rd and 3, 3rd and 7, 3rd and 10, 3rd and 17, 3rd and 23 it hasn;t mattered as opposing fans can count on 2 things. Miami will generate no pass rush, even with a blitz, and their QB can calmly roll back, eat a sandwich, and locate Michael Lehan or Travis Daniels for the automatic completion. You'd never know it but I'm a very optimistic fan. If any of Miami's prior teams that had good defense were playing NE on Sunday I'd give them a chance. This one has a better offense than in recent years but the defense is terrible. You will see.

Pretty funny post, Dolfan. Thanks for the good cheer. I've lurked around at Finheaven just to see what y'all are saying and have a lot of sympathy. Tough times. When I was still a kid, the Pats were always pretty bad. I just expected it and watched anyway. I still got excited for every season/game, even though there really wasn't reason for hope. At least the general consensus at FH seems to have accepted the present and focus on the bright spots for the future. Good luck, man.

Thanks, but I'm in Bellingham, MA right in the neighborhood with you guys.

Well say goodbye to Chambers. One less weapon for Miss Cleo to use against the Pats defense. This one could get ugly fellows.
