Oh, oh. Dolphins have their best chance now.

Nahhh. Brady has been on the cover many times.

Nice article.

I don't know why they felt the need to Photoshop the Welker image. They made his look like some kind of raging lunatic. If I didn't know any better I'd say that they superimposed his face on someone else's body. They didn't, but that's how badly they manipulated the original.

Must...resist...supporting Peter King's salary...

Pretty sure, that's how Welker looks. If they did photoshop anything, it would have been captioned as a photo illustration. If it was photoshopped and not captioned as being an illustration, the photog would be in some trouble.

There's a lot you can do with Photoshop that's considered within acceptable limits of manipulation. Practically every photo you see on news sites is cleaned up before it's published. In this photo, the photo editor over sharpened the Welker image, and adjusted the lighting across his face to make it stand out. By doing so, they made him look cartoonish and fake.

Is there a place to buy both this and the Moss issue if you missed them?

Thanks,
-Rob-

Anyone remember this? These magaizines change photos alot more than you think.

I wish I could read it, but it's well known that Sports Illustrated is owned by a conglomorate of Satan Worshipers and Terrorist Sympathizers

(again I should make clear that I have no actual proof of this or facts to back up my statement, but that's really not important according to Peter King)

I think you can buy the old issues right off the si.com website, and I dont think the Brady issue is in the stores yet

What a great open:

"He knew precious little about the New England Patriots. There were those three Super Bowl rings. There was the coach in the gray sweatshirt who seemed so imperious and distant. "He never smiled," says Adalius Thomas, a Pro Bowl linebacker who spent seven seasons with the Baltimore Ravens before reaching the open market last winter as an unrestricted free agent. There were the players, enemies whom he scarcely knew.

Something made them different. On March 3 Thomas signed a five-year, $35 million contract with the Patriots. With it came a silver helmet, a blue-and-white jersey and, most important, a key to the inner sanctum.

There he found his answer. "You've got to remember, I'm coming in from Baltimore," says Thomas. "People there wanted the limelight, people sought out the limelight, starting with the head coach. It was a star-studded system. Here it's about as different as you can get. Everybody here shies away from being the star guy. Nobody on this team beats his chest. They just all go about their business. And win."

As much as the genius with X's and O's, this is what makes us different. And it's something they find most difficult of all to imitate in a copy cat league.

Sounds like any free agent worth his salt who wants to win and still get paid
( but not break the bank) will seriously consider NE....especially after this year and that crop........
