I am having a hard time finding anyone on that squad I would take over our guys.

One can make a case for Ronnie Brown with his recent play and Maroneys Injuries and maybe JTaylor but outside of that Im struggling.

Am I wrong here?

I love Taylor's game. That being said, I'd guess that he wouldn't start over Warren or Seymour in the Patriots system.

Zach Thomas maybe.

And I'd take Cleo Lemon over our QB.

Wonder if he could play standing......OLB? He's athletic enough.....

Taylor would be an OLB in our defense. Last year, I would say he would be able to start on our defense over TBC at OLB. With his decline in production this year, I don't know if I would take him over Colvin or Vrabel.

I don't think there is a single player other than Ronnie Brown who would have a chance to start for the Pats at this time. I guess I would take their punter over ours.

What's his face at center is better than Koppen. Just ask Aquaboy.

I'd take Ronnie Brown. If he can run behind their line imagine what he could do here.

Taylor would replace Colvin at OLB, no doubt about it. Actually, Taylor would probably roam around and play in nearly any LB spot after he got used to the system. He's ridiculously athletic.

Brown starts at RB.

Right now, Holliday mgith be in there instead of Green on running downs at least.

yeah, beyond that I'm struggling.

Come on guys. Don't become arrogant.

There were four. Morris and Welker now play foer us. Brown and Taylor would look good in patriot unis.

Taylor's a FA in 2010 when he'll be nearly 36. I think there's a reasonably chance he finishes up his career here a la Seau. He's tight with Brady, I've heard.

What's arrogant? They play different styles, so that's going to be an edge for the home team player. It's a simple question. Do you really think, for example, that Trent Green would start over Brady?

Channing Crowder, JT, Ronnie Brown....Ginn on returns

damn, I'm silent here.

Taylor, Brown, Thomas, Crowder maybe.

So how about the Jets and Bills?

Looking them over, you could make an "all-star" team by picking from all three and still be hard pressed to beat the Pats.

The majority of the players I'd be interested in are younger players that have shown promise like Whitner, R. Brown, Crowder, Mangold, Lynch. Maybe even Revis and Youboty. Vilma.

Others would be Lee Evans, Schoebel, J. Peters, Coles, Zach Thomas, J. Taylor.

I'd like to see Whitner on the Pats given one choice.

You can't rule out the Pats could get Taylor much sooner than that via trade. I'd trade the Fish a couple of draft picks for JT for sure.

I thought Taylor also has a good rapport with BB which is much more important.

Chambers might not start but he'd get a lot of playing time. Brown's a no-brainer. Taylor would start and anyone suggesting otherwise is going a little overboard with this- he was DPOY last year despite playing on crappy ass Miami. Thomas has really looked bad this year but I think we'd at least give him a shot. And after that, maybe Vernon Carey?

Keep in mind, Vrabel said himself that he thought maybe 10 members of the 2001 team could make this year's team (an exaggeration, but still). The Dolphins are not nearly as good as our 2001 team.

That sounds like a fun exercise. Let me try.

Offense:

QB-Pennington
RB-Marshawn Lynch, Ronnie Brown
LT-Jason Peters
LG-Derrick Dockery
C-Nick Mangold
RG-Brandon Moore
RT-Anthony Clement
TE-Robert Royal, Chris Baker
WR-Lee Evans, Laveranues Coles, Chris Chambers

Defense:

LE-Schobel
DT-Dewayne Robertson
DT-Keith Traylor
RE-Shaun Ellis
SLB-Jason Taylor
MLB- Zach Thomas, Jonathan Vilma
WLB-Angelo Crowell
LCB-Terrenc McGee
RCB-Will Allen
SS-Donte Whitner
FS-Kerri Rhodes

K-Jay Feeley
P-Brian Moorman

KR-Leon Washington
PR-Terrence McGee

Head Coach-Mangini
OC- Cam Cameron
DC- **** Jauron

This team could give us a decent game.

You guys are forgetting an obvious one......... Fields (the Punter). He's way better than Hanson, the only problems is that he might have dead leg by the middle of the season if they keep using him so much :bricks:

That's 3 by my count - Brown, Taylor, Fields
