First post, nice forum, do you think the fins will give the pats any troubles come sunday

The only trouble will be deciding whether to let Cassel or Gutierrez come in to hand off to Eckel.

The only trouble we'll have is deciding when to sit the starters, either the latter half of the 3rd quarter or the beginning of the 4th.

The Patriots have traditionally had a lot of trouble with the Dolphins in Miami, so I wouldn't be surprised if this game were in that vein.

Maybe not a complete walkover....but close !!!
But we lost in Miami last season....we wont this season !!! :p

It's certainly easy to sit back and consider the merits of an 0-7 team causing any grief for a 7-0 team. But certainly, if the Pats play their A game, then certainly you think there shouldn't be any problems for them. But this is the NFL, and things can happen...

1) Trap game (following Dallas and a few weeks before Indy).
2) Division game.

On the other hand, if yr not a Pats fan, you may not appreciate how much last year's shutout at Miami really burned us fans, and undoubtedly burned the players, especially after learning that the fins may have CHEATED in this game. This may be enough motivation to avoid a trap game.

Seen some pretty good Patriots teams go down there and struggle in Miami, there's something to that...but I've never seen a Dolphins team as bad, or a Pats team as good, as what they are now either...

ARE YOU KIDDING???!!! The Dolphins may have cheated in that game???!!!!!!!!!!!! YOu're nuts! We dominated you, simple as that. We will dominate again this Sunday. We cheated.......ROFLMAO!!! Comiong from a Pats fan!!! ROFLMAO!!!!!! We won 21-0!!!

I probably should have mentioned that i am a pats fan. i grew up in mass, and been down in florida for about 8 years. The way the pats are playing they should have their way with the fins, but it just seems as though the fins have had our number the last few

seriously, enough with the "ROFLAMJASDFJD" and all the "!!!!!!!!!?????????????". You came here to talk football...so talk football.

The Miami Dolphins are the best 0-6 team in the history of the NFL

now that's funny,

This is going to sound weird, but one key piece in Miami is missing: Nick Saban. I'm not saying he was a great coach or anything like that, but he definitely knew the Belichick system pretty well. In addition, Cleo Lemon wasn't bad against the Browns last Sunday and Ronnie Brown has been great in Cameron's LT-inspired offense.

That being said, I expect one of those slow, boring games where the Pats win by 14.

I'm getting my point accross. Yhe exclamation points do that. If I think something's funny then I will write LOL, ROFL, ROFLMAO.....would you like me to continue? If you don't like it then go to another board or stay away from my posts. Listen to you, telling me what to do......ROFL. Now beat it....

The Dolphins have given NE trouble in the past, but the Dolphins had a good defense in the past.

NE is better in run defense than pass defense. Miami is better in the running game than the passing game (and has an inexperienced QB). Advantage: NE.

The question is if NE will win by 20, not if they'll win.

TROLL - Go AWAY!

No, I'm not nuts. Like the Pats-Jets game, any alleged cheating was probably NOT a factor in who won the game (which is actually debatable in this case; the contest was still close going into the 4th quarter).

But all I'm saying is, having lost a game like that to a rival undoubtedly steamed the Pats, and that the allegations of cheating would only compound that.

As per the allegations that Dolphin defensemen were wearing microphones, this was never seriously denied by the Dolphins (unlike all the sh*t that hit the fans over the Patriots videotaping). And if you say you never even heard of this, then you're probably in denial.

But I doubt you never heard about it, in which case, your reaction to my original post was at best hypocritical.

PS (edit) I just noticed, the "best 6-0 team in the history of the NFL"?!? Seriously dude, why ARE you even lurking here? Any proud Dolphin fan should have their head stuck in the Miami sand, cowering in shame.

I only have one question about this game - who the hell is Cleo Lemon, and why havn't I heard of him before? I was shocked to find out it's a real person, and not some joke nickname...

[[/I]

I'm here for another 5 days. I'm not going anywhere. Call me a troll, that's fine. blah balh blah....
Too much confidence is a bad thing clowns, it's a bad thing. It will spill over to your team and that overconfidence will bite you in the ass. Keep talking crap. It's a looong season guys and girls and lots can happen. I will just laugh my ass off after our win. This is a bit like our game against the Bears last year...nobody gave us a chance except me of course. I knew we'd win, and of course we won big. Same thing this year Pats Fans, same thing! It will be a thing of beauty and give us just what we need to go on a wining streak and make a run for the playoffs.
