Goodell just wants to flex his muscles. This guy's absolutely ridiculous. He's a spoiled brat son of a politician who thinks he can do anything (sound familiar?), and who I doubt ever played football (or a contact sport) in his life.

Maybe that money will go to helping former players who can't form coherent words because their brains are so scrambled. Oh right, it won't, it will go to Goodell's own slush fund. Prick.

Why call during a play or even the game? Why not wait until half time or after the game? Does he call some defensive back that no one has heard of or just star players like Brady.

I heard the interview but didn't hear him say he called during the game (although i could have missed that part) He did sound pissed though that he gets fined $5k for having 1 (out of 4) straps undone for one single play. Goodell is just beyond stupid at this point.

I heard it this AM and think Brady was misled in what he said. He did say Goodell called him personally, but I don't think he meant during the game although that is how it sounded. He said, 'yeah, for the game' and then one of the stoogers said, 'right during the game' and Brady was still talking. It was confusing, but Brady was still going on to say it was one play and one strap 'oh man'. He didn't sound upset, but sounded a bit surprised and aggrevated by it.

You could be right. It was alittle confusing. I hope Goodcrap would not call during the game. I wish they would have let Brady talk.

They exist on both sides of the spectrum. I'm not a political person, I can't stand politicians or their kin in general, so Goodell is fair game.

I'm with you on that. Career politicians differ only in that they come in various shades of harmfulness.
