Crayton - "Defensively, they are not the real deal."

Wait until Seymour gets in the fold.

Sounds like Crayton and TJ Douchmanzadah are cut from the same cloth.

I guess I won't have to worry about losing to the Cowboys in the Super Bowl now - what a bunch of idiots.

Maybe Crayton needs to go review the tape and see how his offensive line had to resort to blatant holding on every play in order to stop the Pats D.

Blasphemy!!!

Ya'll thinking about scheduling them again, just cause you're so pissed off and motivated???

Good point though, sounds like the Bengals after the Colts get done with them. Palmer, Housch and the like. Actually, it was a hell of a shoot out in Cincy 2 years ago. Trouble for them is, they never made it to meet us (too bad Palmer got hurt though-he really screwed things up!)

He has a point. When Romo was on, he pretty much passed at will. Some of that was probably "prevent" defense, but the pats secondary is slow. Especially LBs and safeties covering over the middle.

Probably good enough, but needs a lot of work next year. :singing: :(

put it on the bulletin board

When will teams/players ever learn to shut their stupid mouths?

Gotta love the anger and indignation the Pats vanquished opponents always seem to vent. Reminds me of a scene from the lousy "Conan The Barbarian" movie:

Mongol General: Hao! Dai ye! We won again! This is good, but what is best in life?

Mongol: The open steppe, fleet horse, falcons at your wrist, and the wind in your hair.

Mongol General: Wrong! Conan! What is best in life?

Conan: To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women.

Mongol General: That is good! That is good.

Thanks I was trying to remember how that went.

I think it's hysterical that a guy whose team has just been blown out at home is talking as if the Pats will be the lucky ones if they make it to the Superbowl. Seems to me, Patrick, that the only way you are going to see the Pats in AZ (if they make it to AZ) is from the stands. Goofball.

From yesterday's Dallas Morning News game story:

The Cowboys' offense, which entered the game as the top-ranked unit in the NFL, put up season lows in yards (283), first downs (13), plays (46) and points (20). It had the ball for only 21 minutes, 45 seconds.

Who cares? F*** him. He better stop thinking about us and start thinking about his next opponent.

Let those weak fools talk all the trash they want, It just makes us more unstoppable. It just goes to prove that whenever teams lose, thier first instinct is to blame the other team. Although i cannot stand Peyton Manning, I have to give him props that whenever he loses, he only blames other players on his own team.

Heh if the Cowboys make the SB...BB is gonna have that message out front to our defense..."You are NOT the real deal!"

In fairness to Dallas, a large contributor to Dallas' season lows was the fact that NE's offense was so good. Turn two of NE's TD drives into punts and Dallas has more opportunities to generate yards and points.

Even if Crayton is a jackass, I don't necessarily disagree that NE's defense looked a little vulnerable. But I just think that Dallas presented some matchup issues with their size that most other offenses, including Indy's, don't present.

Boy, they just never learn do they... :nono:

If the Cowboys manage to get a rematch Crayton better have his brainless head mounted on a swivel.

Sure the offense keeping the ball always helps a defense, but the Cowboys only put together two drives really. And we just needed to make adjustments in the middle of the field to fix it. The defense isn't in playoff form yet, nor should they be, but they are still performing very well and very much the "real deal".

They had about 3 good runs and aside from that not much. One of the runs came to Wright's side where he just couldn't/didn't get off his block and close his gap soon enough. Seymour will surely not let that happen.

Going just on memory, it seems that TE's and the middle of the field is where MOST passing yardage comes from against us. However it seems to come in spurts during a game after the other team makes adjustments and before we do. It's also a small factor of protecting against the big play and forcing the defense to have sustained time-killing drives to get points, nothing quick.
