I know he would never fit under the cap, but BB loves the guy. Imagine the nightmares the defenses would face.

CJ as in Chad Johnson? Who is saying he's on the block?

I think that is who he is talking about. Great player, but why trade for him?

Well it wouldn't make sense to trade for him this year. But trading for him in the offseason would be sweet. Moss, Johnson, Welker, and Jackson. Beastly.

Might be on block? YEAH RIGHT.

he signed an extension not long ago..were great WR. Trade posibility= ZERO

hes not their problem in Cinci. Its their OL and D

it's more weapons

Would we still need a punter?

No offense meant to the guy in montreal, but this is not a great thread opener. Some sort of link, reference, anything would be helpful for starters. Even spelling out the guy's name. There are a few CJs around the league...

Yeah it's just a rumor, but god, what fun it would be if Chadwick starts demanding to be traded to the Pats. :singing:

You know Marvin Lewis is one eyelash away from FREAKING THE F#CK OUT on his team at any given moment.

It would be so fun! :D

It's a rumor floating around on the indy board.
I thought it was interesting.

LOL, the colts fans are already looking for a replacement for the now slow marvin? owww

but they are rit, without two premeir wr's, the colts pass O wont be anywhere near as good

Chad Jackson hasn't done anything to warrant being mentioned in that elite group.

If the Bengals can't win they need to at least put rears into the stadium seats. Trading away Chad Johnson isn't going to help. I find the idea of Pennington being traded more believable but I don't think that is going to happen either.

We all know BB likes Chad Johnson and for whatever reason he is very popular among Patriots fans (I like him too, although I think if the celebration routine goes outside of the endzone you're trying too hard) but this team is already loaded at WR. I'd rather see a last minute trade to bolster the running back position because Maroney's frailty scares me and Morris has been great but it looks like he is hurt too.

I would love to get him. It would be very weird for this year, though, with all the WR we have. We couldn't line up Moss, Stallworth, Johnson and Welker out there together . . . could we . . . :D

Keep what we have right now.

It is beastly right now.

Put me down as being very much for getting Chad.

I'd even include Stallworth and Jackson as part of the trade package. Heck, I'd even toss in ex Bengal Washington if it meant closing the deal ;)

Well they're right in that forum, if anyone should seriously pursue this it is the Chargers. LT and Gates can still make plays when opposing defenses know they're the ones that have to do it, but knowing is half the battle... or something.
