i think the best thing about this year is that after the Pats beat a team it's like a tornado just ripped thru their town.

You go to their forums and they are just kinda in shock, don't know what to do. They are just looking around at the destruction wondering "What do we do now?" "can we pick up the pieces and move on?" "should we move to another city?"

it's so awesome when you can not only beat a team, but totally demoralize them and their fans. Remember the chargers after that game....they were just detroyed and took them another 2 games to get it back together.

I was just thinking, looking at the AFC East standings, where the Bills, Jets and Fins are all struggling to float, that getting ravaged by the Pats twice a year must leave a huge mental burden on those teams.

Like you said the Chargers are a damn good team, deep talent... but it's taken them a few weeks to find themselves. And it didn't help having a revenge game at Foxboro, where they got their hats handed to them.

If the Bills played in the NFC, they might be 5-1-- just like the Packers. And, they're better than 4-2 Tampa Bay. But games against the Steelers, Pats, plus 1 point losses to Denver and Dallas... there's no shame in that. With that schedule, Green Bay would be 0-5 right now.

"You are what you are" and all that, but honestly the Bills could be two games better than their record. That Denver game was a donkey-punch B.S. loss, as was the pathetic collapse vs. the Cowboys.

Some announcer on the NFLN said the Patriots not only beat teams they reek "Havoc" on the opponents organization.

Great points about the Bills. I like the Edwards kid.

I do like that...just wipe them out...leave them thinking wondering...I DO like that..

ohh, yea, but this was happening b4 this season..usually when we beat a team, they begin a downward spiral...

the vikings are the prime example last yr...they were so good, and then they play the pats on primetime, lose, and dont even make playoffs...
the chargers took a whole offseason and then sum to recover...and are only now coming back...
the bengals are 1-5 now...fiting for pick number one...
the browns are still doing good though

I love it! This is going to be the best season for Pats fan!!! :rocker: :rocker: :rocker:

I think this is very true. Some were saying we only beat lousy teams. Fact is we beat a playoff Jets team and completely demoralized them.

Then we played a 14-2 Chargers team who we shocked last year and destroyed this year.

It's a game of confidence and the fact teams are a shambles for a few weeks after we play them is a credit to us.
