Did you see guys see the amazing toe drag by Randy Moss? Sure the ball came out, but still it was amazing athletic concentration.

I was more amazed by the way he got his left foot in. If you look at it from the sideline angle they showed, you can see that it's an awkward position for his leg and certainly not where it would normally have gone as he ran the route. He knew exactly where the sideline was there and shifted his leg exactly right. This guy is a wonder.

Yeah. Even though the play didn't stand because of the bobble when he hit the ground, it was still an AMAZING effort by Randy.

He changed speeds at least 3 times in the last 10 yards alone. When he got his seperation and knew where the ball was slowed at the last moment just enough to make sure both feet stayed in, used arm extention and fingertips and a low catch to finish it off. Most receivers would have ran to the end of the endzone and lept for it. He is...a freak.

I've always disagreed with the rule that a receiver has to maintain possession of the ball after a TD, even after hitting the ground out of bounds. Me feeling is that as soon as the receiver has possession of the ball, and both feet in the end zone, that's a TD and the play is over. A RB, for instance, can reach the ball over the goal line from the pile and it's a TD the instant the ball breaks the plane. Even if a defender bats the ball out of his hands without the RB being down, it's still a TD - I don't understand why it's different for a receiver.

That was pretty amazing, I didn't think there was anyway he could get his feet in. But somehow he did. He did bobble the ball a bit on the way down too, though. It was damn close.

Because the running back definitely already has possession of the ball. It's all about confirming possession.

Oh man, what about the one last year where Marvin Harrison tipped it to himself while falling out of bounds and still managed to get both feet in and hold on to the ball. Then to top it off, he gets up and spikes the ball directly into Vrabel's face. What amazing athletic concentration right? I mean his actually WAS a touchdown.

I'll give you that one. I seriously questioned all the laws of physics on that play. Even the part where the flag failed to fly.

I remember a diving catch in a Super Bowl against the Broncos about 30 years ago by Cowboy WR Butch Johnson at the TD line. He dives, has the ball in his hands, and does a summersault in the EZ. As he's summersaulting, the ball comes out. It was ruled a TD.

Not sure if the rule has expressly changed, but it seemed like a similar situation. Looked like a good call in the current rule.

Still an amazing display of body control to keep the feet in.

Like I said yesterday. Catch or no catch. That was absolutely unbelievable. I even saw T.O raise an eye brow sitting on the bench watching the replay on the big scren.

Superior athleticism! I was also impressed with the way Randy ran straight back to the huddle without a peep on that play and also on the PI that negated his other TD. Mo** is showing cla** up the a**, unlike # 81 for the Cowboys.

It's a privilege to witness the magic of Brady to Moss. We can tell our grandkids about them like my grandfather used to tell me about getting to see Williams and Gerhig

Just wanted to point out the idiocy displayed by Tom Jackson when he was talking about this play.

When this play came up during the Blitz highlights with Berman, Jackson says something along the lines of: "It looked at first like he was clearly out of bounds, but the more you looked at it, the more it looked like he might have gotten in."

Hey TJ, everyone knows he got both feet in! The replays clearly showed this. It was overturned because he didn't maintain possession throughout the process of the catch!

Maybe Jackson should watch games before he talk about them on national television.

its was amazing body control, just like the the over the back shoulder job against the bengals.

we already knew brady just need to throw it in the same zip code and moss hauls it in. now we know brady can throw it out of bounds and moss will catch it w/his feet in.

I wanted so badly for it to stand but it was the right call. Amazing effort by Randy. I was sure that he didn't have his right foot in bounds until they showed it and I was amazed.

As someone said on NFL Live today, That was the best incompletion ever.

As much as I was so frustrated at that point in the game, I had to give in to my awe. Harrison is really amazing. I thought of the same catch when Moss almost semi-repeated it.

And you really can't fault Moss for double-clutching the ball and thus losing possession...he basically caught the back half of the ball!

I like the Randy Moss toe drag over that Harrison touchdown, why? Well which ball was the deeper ball? the Brady to moss or the manning to Harrison?

You have to realize moss was running a long route and he still was able to concentrate on the ball. Harrison's catch was slower, shorter and more human.
Harrison tipped it to himself, so that means the ball was not coming in hot and fast, and he tipped it, then caught it. Moss was just pure concentration. I bet you the reason why he dropped the ball was because he was so concentrated on his toe drag.
