I had been respectful of what the Cowboys have accomplished, and looking forward to a good football game.

Now, they look more and more like immature punks who don't know how to handle (a very little) success. The coach celebrating after the Buffalo win, the comments from the players about "cheating", etc.

Now I want to win by 50 points. Grind them into the ground. Score a touchdown at the end of the game, with the ball at the 1, and up by 50.

Well, it never fails to amaze me how the whole pattern repeats itself.

No matter how many great teams we beat, no matter how many games we win, it is the same every week.

The opposing team is running their mouth, and the fans come on here and act like ignorant trolls begging us to be intimidated by their team of immature punks, we win and then the same thing happens next week.

OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

Or maybe some of you are being overly sensitive? Not trying to be a smart ass but, c'mon guys. Listen to what your saying. I don't think Spears called us out that bad. He basicaly said if a team gets an advantage they should have an asterisk. He never said that the Patriots gained an advantage. Sure, take that for how you want it. But if that IS him calling us out, you gotta admit he has done it in a very politicaly correct way.

Exactly, the only team thus far to have avoided that was the Browns, until after the game, at least they were smart enough to wait !!!

What has changed? I feel this way every week.

I really don't know how to feel about this game. One minute I think we are going to kill Dallas - if Buffalo could confuse Romo and make him throw picks all day, what will we be able to do? Bellichick is the master of confusing QBs who have never played against the Pats before.

But then I think of two things that give me pause - 1) even though Romo played horribly for most of the game, he never gave up on himself. He kept coming back and trying again and was eventually able to lead his team to victory. When Brady has his rare horrible game he is not usually able to do this; 2) Buffalo's offense (which I know stinks, but still) was only able to muster 3 points against Dallas, despite the short field and demoralizing (for Dallas) circumstances they were handed. Dallas' D must be pretty good. I am concerned that Matt Light is sick and Koppen is already banged up. We need good protection for Brady or we could be in for a long day.

But now I have swung back to the other side; Buffalo does not have all the offensive weapons we have and Brady is good at getting the ball out quickly. Dallas's secondary is apparently suspect.

AARRGG! Just don't know what to think. I am excited for a good game though.

Actually you are doing alright in my book. :)

Football is a very tough sport and anything can happen. There is simply no certainty involved, no matter how good your team is. Accidents happen.

That is why I gave up trying to predict every possible outcome a long time ago.

I do know that teams should know better than to question the Pats organization. We have been the better team since 2001 overall, with a few down moments here or there.

It is pretty rare indeed that ANY game goes the way you expect it to in detail, even if the overall result is the same every week in a WIN. :D

This is silly. His comments were far stronger than that. Calling the Patriots out on the spygate thing will do an opposing team no good, no matter how diplomatically it may have been expressed - and I don't think it was expressed as diplomatically as you seem to.

The Patriots are going to kill Dallas. The Pats passing attack is dominant and the Cowboys pass D is not good. It ain't rocket science. Pats win big.

I almost hope there's a competitive game. I want to see the Patriots have to claw at the end.

Nah, forget it. I hope they win by 40 and yell, "F*** you, Goddell!" on the way off the field.

What about our secondary? And our line backers against their two pretty good runners?

I think we are going to win, but I don't think it will be a blowout!

Romo shat the bed and everyone is praising him for cleaning the sheets...unbelievable

Serious question/request:

Please list the NFL teams with superior secondaries to the New England Patriots. For depth considerations, please go 3-4 deep on corners and, at least, 3 deep at safety. In other words, list the better top 6-8 man secondaries.

Here's the deal, using the pass the Pats will try and score enough to take away the Cowboys run game in the second half. If they get the Cowboys in a situation where their behind by 14 + late 3rd quarter, they'll abandon the run and die. My only concern with Dallas is their running game wearing down the defense by the 4th quarter if we can't force them to pass.

We must score lots of points, we don't want a close game in the 4th quarter.

First off, of course the coaches were happy that we pulled out the game in buffalo, because when your quarterback turns the ball over 6 times and we somehow manage to win, of course they would be happy they got the win. Were they happy how we got the win? HELL NO, That was a horrible game and they know that, but of course it will make them happy that they atleast got out of their with a W. Your mad at teams making fun of you guys for cheating? Poor little baby, you guys cheated ok, so just accept it, you should have fun with it, every team in the league has the right to make fun of you guys for cheating. Its kind of pathetic to cry and whine because people make fun of you when you do something that is completely against the rules of the game.

Dallas played terrible against buffalo, does that mean that dallas is terrible? No, the only reason that game was even that close was because Romo had a terrible game throwing 5 interceptions, and 2 of those gave buffalo runbacks for 14 points. Buffalo broke off a lucky special teams kick return for another 7 points. But lets just say for a minute, that Romo didnt turn the ball over like he did that game, Buffalo more than likely would have on scored 10 points tops and Dallas would have 2-3 more touchdowns. If romo didnt have the game he did, Dallas would have thrashed buffalo just as bad as the patriots thrashed buffalo. Dont forget, your golden boy Tom Brady has THROWN 4 INTERCEPTIONS IN A GAME 5 DIFFERENT TIMES, So he is not perfect either.

When the Colts came to dallas last year they were also the big favorites to win, but Dallas beat them down like no other, and Dallas is a much better team this year than they were last year. So if you honestly think that this game will be a walk in the park because one terrible game from Dallas, then you know nothing about football.

All in all, i hope this will be a good game, and wish you guys the best of luck.

You seemed to be misinformed. I guess the problem is, is that the only thing that the Patriots did wrong was put a camera where it wasn't allowed. Every team is allowed to tape other coaches signs or steal signals, just not from the sidelines. The Patriots gained no clear advantage because sign stealing is allowed, everyone can do it! Maybe you also missed that Jimmy Johnson(along with other former coaches) also admitted that he did it all the time, so I guess the Cowboys should be in the cheater category along with most other teams that did it or found other ways to cheat. Did the Cowboys also have a major steroid problem at one point (correct me if I'm wrong!)? So the complaining is for the fans and players, past and current, of other teams that want to try to drag the Pats down because they are threatened by us and our potential to be competitive for years to come. You guys won't look at your teams objectively because you are too busy trying to knock us down to help your egos.

You also seem to forget that since 2001, we have been competitive and front-runners in the NFL. Last year, Romo has a few good games, gets picked for the Pro-Bowl(a joke!) and then tanks for the remainder of the season. So, you've won a few games this year, it proves nothing, at least we have something to back up our confidence! "Our golden boy" comes through for us, we'll see about yours on Sunday!

If the Pats win big does that mean that "you" know nothing about football? If it is a walk in the park for the Pats, will you be able to prove that Dallas didn't have a Buffalo hangover? If the Pats stink will it be because Dallas is awesome or could it be another abberation like last week? If Miami loses another game will it be because they stink? Yes, and that is the only thing that can be said with certainty. :)

Have a good Sunday

If you call that "cheating", then I guarantee you that the Dallas Cowboys intentionally cheat multiple times in every game they play.

I'm with you. If I were a Dallas fan I'd want my team to be publically acting like the humble underdog, quietly seething to show the world.

Their inexperience in the primetime limelight is showing, and that might be their undoing.

Actually, the only reason the game was close was that the Buffalo offense was only able to score 3 points.
