Matt Light has the flu?

LOL!!!

Krafty of BB. Planting the seed already!!:p

I'd rather the whole team gets the flu now than later in the year. We can beat Dallas if we're sick with the flu. On the other hand, Indy beats us by three points when we're sick with the flu. Oh yeah, that was before Moss, Welker, Thomas, Stallworth, Morris, and without Harrison....

I hope it's because Light looked good in practice this week and BB wants the 'Boys to run it to his side...

Flies in the buttermilk, shoe fly shoe...

I am worried about Kaczur/OCallaghan on Spencer. Spencer injures people. He hurt E. Manning and the Giant lead Rb in week 1 with hard hits. Without Light, if Kaczur has to switch to Left Tackle, could make the OCallaghan/ Spencer matchup very interesting. I can't wait to watch the line play, on both sides of the ball.

I asked this last year before the AFC Championship Game and I'll ask it again now: why don't the Patriots give their players flu shots? AFAIK it is not a banned substance...

Flu shots aren't like, say, the measles vaccine. It's not 100% effective by any means.

This really sucks. I hope Light is ready to go by Sunday. Send that man to his room, make his bed comfortable, give him some warm soup and hope he gets better. If Light and Koppen don't play, the Pats are really thin on the O-line.

Let's play the typical Colt troll game; "Doesn't matter Light can sit, we have somebody behind him that is just as good and has been playing very well in practice."

There, how'd I do?

That was good, as long as you believe it. Nothing wrong with Colt fan telling it like it is. We had several guys out last week, didn't miss a beat. Now, if Manning misses, that'd be another story. Or if Harrison AND Clark missed, or if Jackson AND Sanders missed. Just depends on who's backing up who. I'm sure Light will play, and if he doesn't, you'll plug someone in.

Oh, there is a lot wrong with a Colt fan, don't get me started, but if you did, I would start with Polian.

Flu - are you kidding me.....we're doomed.

Lets be realistic here, if say BB gets the flu then yes there is a chance we can lose, but Matt Light gets the flu and we lose, come on! Brady can always just though it within the first 5 seconds like he did before this season, he doesnt need half hour you know!

Supposedly we had 15 players with the flu in the AFC Championship game, in which our defense collapsed in the second half and blew an 18 point halftime lead. And still, we came within a minute of playing in our 4th Super Bowl in 6 years.

I do realize that flu vaccines are not 100% effective, but I don't understand how 15 guys out of 53 can simultanously get the flu if the team gives them shots. And I think that if we didn't have so many sick players we would definitely have FOUR Lombardi's now.

Or, if Officials would get their heads out of their butts, and make correct calls, this whole thing never would have come to this. STOP F*CKING WHINING!!
