i always listen to the big show, always entertaining esp when smerlas is on and he and deossie go at it. plus smerlas and shepard are pats homers, which i like. i hear enough of the neutral anti pats stuff all week.

They started with the Peter King interview (there's another thread) and got into general issues of whether a palyer/coach (BB specifically) has to actually talk/answer to the fans (through the media of course) or can just release a statement and whether media guys tend to do hatchet jobs on the guys they don't like.

tony massaroti is on about BB and what peter king said...about cover up ...and also why didnt BB apologize to media???? in other words why didnt he answer questions..and he is arrogant. basically the vrew is telling him he is an idiot. and they cant believe king is so stupid. shouting match.

it started with going after peter king and his interview with Dale and holley .and then it started with the topic that king said that he wanted BB to hear talk about it and massarotti started agreeing with king that BB shoudlve apologized and the rest of the crew went ballistic and all kinda talk about journalistic integrity,how the herald reporters s**k up to the players,show ratings,"forgive me for not listening to the show because i have to feed my children"massarotti

it was chaotic.

Wait, so King didn't get back on after disconnecting?

They should give that the King/Easterbrook treatment and accuse him of sabotaging the line in order to avoid answering questions that he knew would make him look like a fool.

At least that would be more credible than the idea that the Pats' videotapes "were SO DAMNING that they had to be DESTROYED!!1!one!," and that their destruction was a massive cover-up.

I'm glad D&H finally stood up to Peter King, even though I didn't hear it as I have officially boycotted him for the remainder of the season.

It started when ordway said peter king expossed himself (not literaly) that he had an agenda against BB. Kings beef is that BB won't talk to him personaly about spygate there was more but thats the basic. Everyone agreed except tony Mazz who kept sticking up for King to the point of sounding like a horses azz,and accusing ordway of haveing BB on to boost his ratings which would boost his salery.All he!! broke lose at this point. After that I don't know I was listening on the way to work.

Sometimes it's a bit much they are rehashing the videogate thing over and over again..I listen to the Fan New York and get much more pure spors talk.They just had on Bob Ryan and what a great interview..Even though Mike Francessa is a Yankee fan he is very objective..
