It seems like every time there is a "big" game coming up, the media tries to give it a catchy nickname. Right now we're all anticipating the Duel in Dallas. In the past we've seen the Tuna Bowl, Tuna Bowl II, and so forth. Then there are post facto game names such as the Snow Bowl and the Snow Plow Game - games that achieve notoriety in retrospect.

What Game Names can you all think of? Which one is your favorite? I think mine is the Snow Bowl, but I reserve the right to change my mind after I hear some of your ideas!

The Heidi Game

I'm gonna go with the "Romo gets owned game." :rocker:

Wish i could play with more zest.
But ... even though it;s our "biggest" game ever since Cinci ...
it's still just This Week's Game.

The Fog Bowl... couldn't see a damn thing.

I'm not asking for nicknames for this game, I'm looking for historical nicknames and to hear what people's favorites are.

Hey, what did they call the Parcells vs BB game - was it the Bill Bowl?

The Baptisim Bowl...

We will baptise Romo, to the rest of the avg qb list:rocker:

Sorry, didn't mean it to sound like a reprimand, I was just trying to keep the thread on topic! :D Listen, if you all want to turn it into a best nickname for Sunday's game contest that's ok with me too!

Sneakers Game. NY Giants went out and bought tennis shoes to wear for their team to wear on icy field. Beat the Bears in 1934 NFL championship game. No, I wasn't there.

And, what i recall hearing in the late '50s,
the Giants changed out of their cleats ... and into them sneakers ...
AT HALFTIME.

Talk about your "halftime adjustments"!

The Embarass in Dallas.

How about "The Game Drew Bledsoe is Least Likely to Watch Sober"

The Miracle at the Meadowlands. My dad was at that game - as he reminds me about every Sunday :D
