This is a big part of why I keep having a hard time taking Dallas seriously. Check out their message boards; their fans are convinced that homefield will bring them a win (though there's no mention of Dallas having a short week).

Teams that actually face real competition know that homefield advantage is overrated against good teams. Anyone who has watched NE knows that they've won big games in SD, Indy (though Indy has won big games against NE home and away also), Pittsburgh, etc.

It just shows that they're in over their head.

The guy on the left is Clarence Hill(I believe he was a former Dallas player), the other guy is Mac Engle(FWST writer, and his wife, Jen Floyd Engle, also writes for this paper).

Mac and Jen are Cowboys homers-but I can honestly say that 95% of the DFW media is objective/negative leaning toward Dallas teams.(Randy Galloway, Jean-Jacques Taylor, and Goose Gosselin are VERY negative toward the Boys)

the cowboys fans and writers who prognosticate a patriot loss have reached a homerish level.I think they are blindly over confident from the feeling that they are finally recapturing their glory. over the past week I Really havent heard one good reason( X's and O's wise) as to why the cowboys will win. Im sorry but this game wont be close. our defense will keep romo in the pocket with a contained rush so he doesnt roll out and hit his real weapon whitten.
