ESPN has a poll up right now:

"What Will You Be Most Interested In This Weekend?"

Red Sox vs. Indians 20%

D'Backs vs. Rockies 8%

Patriots vs. Cowboys 62%

Oklahoma vs. Missouri 7%

Total votes(currently): 37,801

Oh, and in the meantime, we're STILL waiting for Jackie Mac's apology to your readership for the misrepresentation of Asante Samuel's tatoo in the hatchet job published ("timed for") the morning of the Pats first playoff game last year.

Too bad because Pats - Cowboys is the least competitive of all these games. :D

Massachusetts is at 55% Pats, 42% Red Sox.

The only NE state that is more anxious for the ALCS to start is Maine and it's at 51% Red Sox, 48% Pats.

Yup, even in Massachusetts (the excellent ESPN map) it shows that 55% voted for the Patriots game, 42% voted for the Red Sox game.

You'd never know it from the virtual blackout given the Pats coverage versus the blanket coverage given even Tuesday morning for Manny Ramirez' kid's nanny's trip to the grocery store.

Maine just narrowed to 50-49. Count those "Hanging Chads"!!!!!!!

A playoff series is unquestionably bigger news than a regular season game. I am looking forward to NE v Dallas more than any singular Sox game, but if I had to choose either the Sox series or NE game I'd pick the Sox easily.

Let me take a wild, crazy, out-of-right-field guess: You're a "conservative" or "Republican."

Do you get double bonus stamps from the Limbaugh Club for every bash of the media you can come up with? Man, what a lack of imagination....

Oh man, did you just swing and miss by a mile! :D :D

But if the Boston Globe, which owns the Red Sox and pimps them continuously on Boston.com and NESN while denigrating the Patriots via Shaughnessy, MacMullan (and previously Borges) is OK with you, then great.

Didn't she also save the Ted Johnson story as well for a time when teh Pats were playing a critical game?? My respect for her has gone down the tubes as well..another dirtbag reporter..getting it WRONG!!!

Im sure T.O is looking forward to more dropped passes, so bring your Popcorn.

Too bad about the Globe. It used to be the best paper in the business. Bar none. Glad to hear the Herald is doing well.

But aren't those are the stories that truly impact our life? :D Hmmm, Start Market or stop & shop?

I think it's "Star Market" but it's a moot issue since it's been out of business for almost 8 years. Yes, I do get your point though! (Star Markets are now Shaws which is now owned by SuperValu)

Am I half asleep or does the Globe actually have a picture of Manny praticing on the front page?

Almost as bad as Planet Mikey (Mike Adams) who knows nothing about football and begs his callers to talk about baseball before every show. Wednesday night he directed the topic towards the Colorado Rockies and Arizona D-Backs matchup. Hello....hello....2 five and 0 teams are playing on Sunday???? Can we talk some football!
