Who's the best wide reciever in your eyes

On this one I have to go with Steve Smith. Randy Moss has the best hands in the league, but when you factor in every skill needed in a wide reciever I think it goes to Smith. He's got the strength, and he can break tackles. Moss gets second best.

depends, in my eyes, its two differnt wr types...the ones who are good FOR the catch, and the ones who are good AFTER the catch...

Moss is the former, smith the latter...no question really...

noone has as good positioning hands or plain catching ability as Moss...
but Moss cant break a tackle...

This has to be qualified. It depends on whether we are talking about Randy Moss' cumulative career (where he may not be top 10 among active players) or we are talking about the times when he gets 100% of ability onto the football field.
Moss at his best, is without any doubt in my mind, by far the best WR in the NFL.
The problem is Moss has been at his best maybe 50% of his career.

FOR THIS YEAR, I would take Moss over anyone, because I am convinced his head is 100% in the game, and will be for the entire season.
Put another way, you could put Randy Moss on about 4-5 teams in the NFL and he would clearly be the best WR in the NFL. You could put him on the other 27-28 and he wouldn't be in the argument.

I'm with Andy. Moss is the best this season so far. I would place Plaxico 2nd and Chad Johnson 3rd. I go with the most productive players vs ability.Though I do admit I love Steve Smith's game. He is fun as all hell to watch.

I used to like Oakland's Moss but I haven't seen him active on their roster all year. I've really taken after Moss's brother (or whoever it is) on this Patriots team, the quiet young gun who in his first game ever with Brady outperformed anything his older and much slower brother did in Oakland or elsewhere in the past 7 years. I know his rookie contract is very cheap but I think this is one of the greatest off-season picks the Patriots have ever made. I expect to see a lot of good things from this guy.:bricks:

Moss is great for Patriots because he is along for the ride and wants a ring.

No. when you give you're all you actually CATCH catchable balls. I would say TO gives his 98.5% on all play's, with that missing 1.5% concentration that allows for way to many drops.

I'll take Moss's 100% when he's thrown to, since it means he might actually catch a few.

I can think of at least a dozen better WR then TO right now.

With 18 drops last year and another key one last Sunday night, there is no way I can see Owens rated above Randy Moss. That's a killer stat.

I think you have to look to see who Smith has had throwing to him and who else he has had on that team around him I do think Moss at 100% edges Smith but I wouldn't laugh at the comparison. If you put Steve Smith on the Patriots with these options and this QB I would be scared to see what he could do. Plus talk about always giving your 100%, that guy has the heart of Welker in a freakishly athletic body.

Who did Moss have throwing to him in Minnesota? Cunningham? Culpepper? Delhomme is in the same class as those two. Smith has scored more than 8 TD's in a season just once in his career. Moss has done it 6 times. Hell, Moss scored 8TDs in his first year in Oakland with a scrub throwing him the ball and it was considered a bad year for him, LOL! Seriously, Stevie Smith is a nice little player, but Randy Moss is just on another planet. It's like comparing Dirk Nowitzki to Larry Bird. Let's get real.
