They just did another entire segment on the spygate crap. did anyone just watch that? Same innuendo, same rumor and speculation. Although Costas is starting to sound a little more reasonable, Peter King is just out of his gdamn mind.

Why do you watch that stupid a-s show?

It went kind of like this:

King & Collinsworth: Pats R t3h CHEATRZ!!!!

Costas: I talked to Roger, and he said that he had already planned to destroy the documents when he got them, and that they only confirmed what they had been doing over the years, which was not cheating. He said no competitive advantage was gained.

King & Collinsworth: Pats R t3h CHEATRZ!!!!:bricks:

Costas: Didn't you guys hear me? I said no advantage was gained!

King: Well he didn't tell me or anyone else that!

Collinsworth: It's a conspiracy I tell ya!!!!!:bricks:

here is the thing. these guys want people to listen and react to them individually during their radio shows and columns and get more ratings. Not to mention before a big game they bring up the same crap they couldve brought up last week or the week before.Trust me, before the indy game they will replay this again.

I still love the highlight segments and I can't help but watch them.

If Phil Simms,Boomer Esiason,Gil Brandt and Pat Kirwin replaced those 4 goofs currently on the show it would be awesome to watch! - These 4 guys I mentioned are some of the best in the business in announcing and also thier intelligence and knowledge about the sport in general in commmetary.

I even enjoyed it when Jerry Glanville and Nick Buoniconte were a part of the group years ago compared to these guys today.

IMO The best part of the show is when they show highlights of last weeks games and you hear the players and coaches talking on the sidelines and on the field,Some of the stuff they say is hilarious and shocking at times.

I wish the Pats would make it a policy to cut out Collingsworth and King completely from any access to the team. At the same time they should give all kinds of good stuff to Media folks who have tried to be fair. As the Pats get closer to the Superbowl, this will *really* hurt these clownz.

Who has the super bowl this year? It would be awesome if it was NBC, then BB could tell Collinsworth and PK F You like he did to Tom Jackson.

I like those choices. I would also add Howie Long, Jimmy Johnson, Greg Cosell, **** Vermeil, Ray Didinger, Adam Kaplan...hosted by James Brown. And if Mark May and Craig James were covering the pros instead of the colleges, I would add them, as well.

I agree whole heartedly. Especially Phil Simms. I'm so glad he'll be doing the next Pats game.

The Patriots could do just that and no one would know the difference. ;)

I was really ticked after their "spygate" segment. Costas was trying to state what the commissioner told him "on the record" and all PK did was counter what Costas said and speculate.

...they were trying to emphasize "ethics" throughout the show. They should look in the mirror. Give me a break!

You have to understand how insecure, and how not-very-bright these guys are. To them, this is a chance to show that they're "journalists" and not just sports guys. So they act like this now-old, minor rules infraction is somehow like Watergate or something. Eventually, they'll realize that nobody's listening.

And keep in mind: everytime it comes up the Pats get motivated all over again. So, thanks guys.

Jerry Glanville doesn't get enough credit for his contribution to the desk-analyst/clown role. HBO decided that, if there was going to be comedy, they would give it its own three-minute slot and keep it out of the football discussion. And so, Wanda Sykes was born. I can live with that. However, it was downright criminal how unceremoniously Len Dawson and Nick Buoniconti were voted off the island. They built that show a weekly must-see and then were tossed on the trash heap for the likes of Chris Carter and his weekly truckload of idiocy.

I would add Carucci as well...

If it were up to me, I would get rid of Collingsworth, Terry Kornhisier, and Shannon Sharpe...just get rid of these 3 losers. Oh..and by the way...someone needs to tell Merrill Hogue to fire his wardrobe assistant. Has anyone ever told him his outfits are awfull? Green striped shirt, with pink tie and brown suit! Yuck!

I would actually like to see a show with the coaches. Ditka, Cowhler, and Parcells...That would be a good show!

I haven't watched it in a long time (since I last had HBO) but my general response to that question is "for the same reason I read Patsfans.com and other message boards, if you sift through the dreck you can usually find some good stuff."

Has anybody figured out yet that Peter King is an unfunny pink Shrek? Who cares about anything he says. He's a boring writer, and a total idiot. People like that should not be taken seriously. Ugh.

PK also alluded to not believing the tapes gave NE no competitive advantage explaining that it's very curious that the Pats won each of their SB's by 3 points. Huh? I don't get that reasoning at all. If it gave the Pats such a competitive advantage - why 3 points? Why not 10 points? 21 Points? Did the signal tapes show that Donovan McNabb was an out-of-shape choker?

I think PK should stick to reviewing Starbucks coffee and his lacrosse playing daughter at some "almost Ivy" College whom I'm quite sure is a promiscious cow.
