Just a quick thought here: is it just me, or does anyone else have the feeling that Romo may be a bit "bipolar", in much the same way that last season Rex Grossman was either very good, or unspeakably bad?

I don't see Romo putting up a 1.3 QB rating anytime soon, but that last game--combined with some of his end-of-season games last season--has me curious.

There does seem to be a bit of it at times, he reminds me more of Rothlesburger than Grossman. He usually finds ways to get it done.

Rex just plain sucks.

Romo has led the league in Yards per Attempt since his first start, and that's the passing stat that correlates most to winning football games. Any comparison to Rex Grossman is laughable and is relying way, way too much on watching one horrible game against The Bills. Tom Brady is the best quarterback in the league and has had one 4 INT game every year for the past four years, these things happen.

Amen,,,, Did grossman ever overcome his picks and execute back to back scoring drives in 3 minutes,, hey fellas Romo was awful for the whole game,,,,EXCEPT when it counted. Alot of people have been waiting to see how he would respond when he makes mistakes,,, First the botched snap,, people thought he would carry that mistake into this year,,, didnt happen. Then the Buffalo game,, how many times have I heard that if he has to face adversity,,, can he keep his composure,, still make plays........ well he did it last year against the giants,,, Sunday night nationally televised, at the Meadowlands,, and he did it this year,, Monday night,, nationally televised in Buffalo. The Buffalo game is just what Romo needed,,, even if he loses the game,,, he needed it. These games keep you grounded and show that its not allways a cakewalk for NFL QBs. Good QBs overcome the inevedible mistakes that are going to happen and bounce back.

He's still a Rookie....give him some time to grow and learn his position

Just curious how many 4+ Interceptions games has Brady had?

5 total, and they are
-@Denver in 2001 (followed with a 124 QB rating)
-@Buffalo in 2003 (followed with a 105.8 QB rating)
-@Miami in 2004 (followed by a 112 QB rating)
-@KC in 2005 (followed by a 93.4 QB rating)
-home verse Indy in 2006 (followed by a 84.6 QB rating)

I added the next weeks QB rating just to show how well he has always bounced back, and Brady is 4-1 following a 4 INT game, with the only loss being last year against the Jets. To be fair though 3 of those INTs in the KC game were off of deflections.

Well 1 was deflected for Romo so he would have had 4 interceptions:singing:

Man I thought I was watching a game from the Crazy World...stuff like that doesn't happen and they still win

while we're doing this, then Brady has only one interception this season. mmmm, those are some fine numbers for a season, hence far 16-1 (td-int).

Well if the pattern continues he should be due for another 4 interception game sometime this season:snob:

yeah he came back when it counted and thats a trait that good QBs have but that being said I don't want to see him stink up the field that bad for another long while. lol

I dont think he will ,,,, Romo will get back in the saddle.

It's true that Brady has four pick games. I don't know about within the last 2 years though.

I think the qualitative difference between the young Brady and young Romo (a more fair comparison) is their decision making. Brady's picks were not often been due to bad judgment. He was disciplined, but also saw the field well. Romo makes me wonder. He takes unnecessary risks in my opinion. Sometimes they work out, but I think in the long run that style is going to get him into a lot of trouble. If this is what he reverts to when his people are covered, then he has a few more more five pick nights in his future.

I don't put him in the Rex Grossman category at all. Not even for a second. But let's face it, the gun slinger lifestyle is a bad habit.

True....lets see how this kid grows, I just hope he learns and gets better...I don't want him turning into Joey Harrington
