Patriots' perspective
Maybe it's because the Boston Red Sox are in the American League Championship Series. Maybe it's because most Patriots fans are thinking about the Nov. 4 tilt at Indianapolis. Maybe it's because the Patriots have played in so many big games.

But this week's matchup against the Cowboys did not seem to carry much juice in the Patriots' locker room after their 34-17 win against Cleveland.

"You know how everybody already is as far as when the Patriots come to town," cornerback Ellis Hobbs, a DeSoto native, said. "They turn it up."

Even in a 17-point victory, in which Brady threw three touchdown passes and the defense picked off three passes, the Patriots weren't happy and certainly weren't thinking about the Cowboys.

"I don't know anything about them," Brady said as dully as possible. "I haven't studied them for one second. I haven't paid attention to them."

I think Brady was saying that he hasn't been focused on them at all, which I agree with. he should focus on the team we are playing each week. He'll get some studying in this week, I'm sure.

Reading the entire article basically tries to imply the Patriots could care less about the Cowboys and are far from concerned.

That I doubt but leave it to the media to get their team up to play on Sunday. Every time I see a segment the media keeps asking the Cowboys how it feels to be playing "the best" team. One player DE Spears responded "We are going to lose 75-0" obviously being overly sarcastic. That I saw on ESPN.

"I don't know anything about them," Brady said as dully as possible. "I haven't studied them for one second. I haven't paid attention to them."

Brady's job is to study his next opponent, not the one two games down the road. Of course, the Dallas players know this, and they understand the comment. Fans might not, but then again, NFL fans aren't exactly the brightest bulbs on the tree.

Terrell Owens assures us, nothing is going to prevent the Cowboys from playing just the way they played in Buffalo.

"I don't care what the situation is, we're going to be ready on Sunday," Owens said Monday. "We are going to play like we've been playing. Nothing is going to change."

From your lips to God's ears, T.O., you F-ing douchebag. By all means, PLAY LIKE YOU'VE BEEN PLAYING.

I can see the Patriots taking TO and Witten away from Romo and making Crayton have to be the go all.

The thing that gets me is as I sift through all the Dallas news everyone (Dallas media) acts like the Cowboys made this huge solid comeback and Romo was the savior or some crap. The Bills LOST THE GAME, the Cowboys didn't win it. If the Bills coaching staff used half of their brains and elected to play it safe with say a shovel pass or draw play then their is no interception and the Bills go up by 11. The Cowboys were lucky enough to be going against one dumb coaching staff to let them back in the game. That comeback shouldn't even qualify as a comeback, is there a "give away" category?

Sunday can't come soon enough.

If you visit dallascowboys.com, you'll see their fans are acting as if THEY are the Queen of the NFL. They talk about their history, being America's team, etc. and then ask Patriots fans "who do you guys think you are?"

It's funny when they state how many nationally televised games they're scheduled for this year. They're acting as if they're the favorites and the power of the NFL. They don't even realize they're not even one of the elite teams yet.

Go visit, it's a riot!
