We are outscoring teams on an average of 23.4 PPG per game. If you look at the league and average points scored per game. Only 11 teams are averaging 23.4 PPG or more. So we are outscoring opponents by more than 2/3rds the league actually scores.

We are scoring 36.4 points a game and giving up 13.0 PPG. Detriots is 11th in the league in PPG with 23.4.

That stat is really impressive. Teams can't score as much as we can beat teams by.

Stats can be misleading in some cases.

Sometimes, they just stick out like a red flag.

I just think that with the Patriots this year, DC's are looking at us on film and thinking "Wow......."

So until we actually play an equal opponent, all we can do is compare stats.

I am trying to be as objective as possible. But all I can come up with is that Dallas is in for a long afternoon come sunday.

But damn. I can't wait to see our team get it on!

It's only 5 games. And the Pats have gotten points from the defense and special teams.

We need more games to assess.

Good point. It has only been five games. Let's give the Patriots a chance to beat a team by 80 points before we start criticizing them so early in the season.

I'm not going too overboard, but I thought it was an interesting fact. I don't know if where we are getting the points have much relevance. Points are points.

Because as we know, the Patriots will get no more points from their defense or special teams this year.

It is interesting. Just like the fact that in 2003, when we won the SB, we had a point differential of 110 for the whole season and, this season, have a point differential of 117 through 5 games.
