I don't get it. All the other boards I've been to are about 75% in favor of the Cowboys this sunday. It just doesn't make sense. Did we not score enough TDs last week?

Come on. Do the math! If Romo can turn the ball over 6 times against the Bill's 31st ranked defense than, against the Patriots' 1st ranked defense, Romo should turn the ball over roughly around 180 times. It's just hard fact. :D

You forget that the mass of people truly root for the underdog most of the time. most likly to compensate for the shortcomings in their lives, if the patriots came in to this game at 4-1 instead of 5-0 i think the majority would root for you guys. but since the records are the same people understand that my cowboys are in for the fight of their lives thus making us the underdogs.

My big fear is that they bounce back after a real arse kicking from their coaching staff all week. They will have it drummed into them that there must be no repeat of last night's performance (at least on offence. Their D was pretty good, given how many times they came back on after turnovers). Surely Romo can't play that badly again... can he? I reckon it will be a close game.

Why do you take what these gomers at other MBs say seriously? Or are you largely reading the Jets/Fins/Bills MBs?

I can honestly say about 1/2 of the people on the CMB isn't very confident in this game, including myself.

Where are these strange boards? And as others says, who cares.

I'll bet somebody a rocker emoticon that Marino and Collinsworth pick the Cowboys on Inside the NFL. :rocker:

Well, looks like the vast majority of people betting on the game are going for the Pats! The line was 4 this morning and has already moved up to 5 1/2 in the Patriots favor.

really where did you get those numbers.. i would have thought it would start at about 9 pts

People are picking who they WISH/WANT to win, not picking who they think will actually win.

If by "C" you mean Colts than no. They're all picking dallas. Mostly, I think, becuase they lost and its natural to want your opponent to experience the same pain.

Who cares what some yahoo's on other forums are picking? The line in Vegas so far has the Pats favored by at least 5 points. That is showing the Pats a lot of respect when you consider both teams are 5-0 and the Cowboys are playing at home.

No way. Two 5-0 teams? I'm not surprised to see the line going up, but I would have expected it to open even a little lower.

i think majority of the people are picking the pats. Lets not try find disrespect in the minority

BB is upset about last weeks performance most likely and is probably giving the players a hard time because of it. The Pats will be ready for the Cowboys on Sunday. I feel pretty confident about this game.

what it really is, is everyone assumes the patriots have got to lose somewhere down the line, and the dallas D has been amazing since they got outta week 1.
and they doubt tony romo will have another game like that.

when people look at yalls schedule, this week, and the week against the colts, is the only real chances they see you could lose.
dallas offense has been as good as the pats, all except for romo monday night, could have been a bad day, which the very best have. or that the crowd was insane, and the bills wanted to win soo bad on their first monday night in 13 years. but most fans of the game don't think romo will have another day like that, and the next game is at home.

on the whole people are hoping you come into dallas and in a battle of the titans, the boys upset the pats.

don't worry about pics though, i never have, it means nothing concerning the game.

also looking at those odds and whatnot, i think the over is a lock, i think we both probobly score atleast 25 with whichever team ends up with momentum running the score up..

i think either team can win this game, but whoever does wins it by 10 or more, is that weird? i think this is a close game, but the score won't end looking close.. lol.. i guess that makes no sense.

Serious question, not meant to be a swipe....

Where is Dallas going to find 25 points?

The fact of the matter is, the evidence points to the fact that, short of an injury to #12, the Patriots CAN'T LOSE against Dallas or anyone else besides Indy. (And maybe even them.) The Patriots will NOT lose against Dallas. They are so much better than the Cowboys, it's just the rest of the NFL doesn't see it yet.

They'll see it next week and we'll get onto the next round of how awesome we are, and that it's "a two-team race," the undefeated B.S., etc... We're winning. Other messageboards are in a full-on embrace of wishful thinking.

I like Romo but the MNF debacle against Buffalo just further points to the fact that Romo is not a big game QB. Dallas barely made the playoffs last year when Romo failed to get the job done down the stretch.

Yet, its hard to root against a guy who isn't a pompous ass. I think Romo will put up some good numbers against good teams this year but in the end, he will need a ton of luck and help to win.
