I don't know what universe they live on. They are talking about how the Pats aren't as good as the Cowboys because the Pats haven't played anyone. They say that the Giants are far better than anyone the Pats have faced and one e-mail actually compared the Pats to the Giants as if they were comprehible teams.

Who exactly have the Cowboys have faced? Last time I checked, we crushed the Bills. The Cowboys were a failed onside kick away from losing. The Giants are a decent team, but they aren't great.

Then again, some of these Cowboys fans praised Roy Williams for his horse collar tackling because it is aggressive play and they like it.

fans are fans.they will always look at the +ve stuff to make them feel superior-me included. iam sure a lot of people are saying on this board that the cowboys havent played anyone else and if they barely beat buffalo then pats will roll over them etc etc.

If I were a Cowboy fan, I'd be spinning like a ballerina today as well. After that performance, I'd be very worried about this weekend.

In fairness, from what I've heard, the announcers have done a good job letting the homer fans understand that the Patriots are for real.

Who we played or who they played is irrelevant. We are better and will beat them handily. Everything else is sideshow.

Well, there is homerism and then there is stupidity. I guess I am not portraying well how over the top the Cowboys fans are being. I mean one fan spent an entire e-mail talking about how the Cowboys would destroy us because they walked all over the Giants and as if we are a comprehible team.

They are so bad that they are being ridiculed by Randy Cross and Bob Papa are openly mocking them. I have no problem with some homerism, but the Cowboys fans seem to be detached from reality.

You know the other teams trolls already have their excuses ready for when the pats beat the cowboys. They will simply say, "bah the cowboys barely beat the Bills, they werent any good anyway. NE still hasnt played anyone good".

Everyone that plays us will talk trash, and when the Pats win, they will resort to "classless" type accusations and repeat the old' "they are cheaters" line.

Ho hum.

I suspect those same fans were predicting the Pats would go 2 and 3, or 3 and 2 in their first 5 games. Now that they won all 5, they haven't played anybody? O.K., I get it.

Lets see what they'll be talking about on Monday. Let them talk all they want. Pats will do their talking on the field.

The funniset thing that I am seeing among Cowboys fans is that they are referring to the Pats as cheaters, just like everyone else.

Cowboy fans are the last fans that should be hoping on that bandwagon seeing as how Jimmy Johnson openly admitted to doing the same thing when he was their HC.

Cowboys SB titles ***, what goes around comes around.

If there is anything to take away from the Bills vs. Girls game is the fact that you need to play the schedule in front of you. The Pats have no control over who they play, they just need to be consistant enough to beat teams on a weekly basis without slipping up. The Girls almost went down last night and their fans should know it is not about the strength of your schedule, it is about sustaining your play thru the season consistantly.

so true...that who we've played is irrelevant, but this is the NFL and NOBODY gets to 5-0 by just showing up on sunday. Both teams have displayed high powere offenses.

this week will go a long way toward defining the character of both teams and the reletive strength of both conferences. (similar to the chicago v new england game last year). i'm afraid the cowboys will spend sunday afternoon discovering all of their weaknesses and their fan base will be trying to fit 20 gallons of crow into those stupid 10 gallon hats.

Don't forget the Cowboy fans that keep bringing up the "great history" of their franchise. It's almost as if they believe Tom Landry will rise from the dead to coach, and Roger Staubach will be filling in as QB. Romo is going to get rocked by our defense this Sunday.
