So many interceptions, crazy tips, run backs for touchdowns, and how about 9 points in the last 40 seconds to pull off a 25-24 victory?

Absolutely craziness. If I'm a Bills player I don't know how I sleep tonight, or the rest of this week for that matter.

It was a wild and exciting game. Poor Buffalo they seem to find a way to lose.

I may sound like a homer here, but the ref calls were WILDLY in favor of the Bills(i.e. TO was pushed out on a sideline catch but was ruled incomplete, McBriar was run into but no call, a Dallas player was held on the long kickoff return by McGee, the TO "spike" where all he did was toss the ball away, etc).

Overall-the officiating has gotten VERY bad in recent years-you always wonder if something fishy is going on.

You sound worse than a homer buddy. You sound like an idiot.

I hope if Roy decides to implement the horse collar next week the zebras actually call it, and the late hit out of bounds leading with a helmet his tandem buddy laid on the same receiver he got called for a facemask on instead...would have put the Bills in FG range.

TO tossed the ball back 15 yards and that is delay of game. There was no PI on the conversion, he was out regardless of the push and that's the rule, and he dropped a couple of easy ones. He's on the verge of a melt down in any game that doesn't go his way - he was starting to jaw on the sidelines in the 4th quarter. The only fishy thing tonight was how little time they took off the clock on that TO overturned reception - 2 seconds...LOL

TO was pushed out, no doubt about that...

I can't comment on any of the other calls that TUNA brought up, but the TO push out was a good call by the refs. There was no way his second foot was coming down inbounds, even without the push.

I actually thought it was 5 seconds or so...started at 18...and I THINK it was 13 or 14...don't remember it started at 16... BUT it was a crazy last few minutes...Had not watched all the game, but here and there..you HAVE to feel bad for the Bills..given everything that happened..

That's the second game the Bills have lost at the buzzer to a field goal. If Elam and Folk miss their kicks, Buffalo's 3-2, not 1-4.

Jauron lost that game for Buffalo.
Instead of defending the sideline with CBs at all cost (keep safeties way back)
Buffalo GAVE Dallas the yards they needed for the winning FG.
All they needed to do was use th dime defense and keep 2 players pinned along the sidelines with safeties deep middle.
There wasn't time for anything in the middle of the field.
Jauron and his coaches blew it.

I went to bed at half time thinking that the Cowboys would win. That missed FG and then the Cowboys getting one was a 6 point swing. Didn't second guess the Bills at the time but a punt would have been better now in hind sight.

My question is, how will this affect the Cowboys next Sunday? Has their confidence been damaged? Will they look at how WE beat the Bills and shudder? Will Romo have bad dreams? Or will they think they are destined to win, even when they are losing?

Thoughts?

I saw a lot of bad calls go against Buffalo. What about the no flags on the horse collar tackle and late hit out of bounds? When Buffalo had just been penalized 15 yards on Dallas's prior possession for grabbing the back of a helmet.

Yeah, and their offensive coordinator ought to be fired for having a rookie QB throw a pass while in the red zone, in clear FG range, where a FG ices the game.

This is one of those games that you can say "the Bills lost" rather than "The Cowboys won"

TO looked PO'd on the sideline for most of the 2nd 1/2 of the game. Yet, i didnt see him yelling at Romo on the sideline 'ala Carson Palmer

Buffalo's defense played great considering they had 5 or 6 players from the third string or off the street starting. Their offense was HORRIBLE! They couldn't run-block at all. They couldn't keep the ball and the D did all they could to win the game.

Dallas was exposed BIG time in this game, IMO. Romo played much worse than the stats showed. There could have been (should have been) another three or four INT's in the second half. TO dropped or failed to hang on to four or five balls in key spots. Their o-line could barely hold back the Bill's four-man rush all night long. Romo was under lots of pressure. Brad Johnson had his helmet on at the end of the half. Take Romo and TO and replace them with Brady and Moss, and Dallas wins by four TD's.

Lickin' my chops for our next victim. Not even close. Dallas is not that good.

It's unfortunate that Buffalo had a Monday night game. If teams are that awful in anonymity no one really cares. On a national stage last night's game was simply a disgrace. They scored three offensive points. Dallas gave up five INTs (two for touchdowns), a fumble, and a kickoff return for a TD and still won. Buffalo was up by eight with less than a minute left and lost in regulation. Games like that should never happen. The NY Post needs to put an asterisk next to Buffalo in the standings saying *not a real football team.

As for the TO call, live action I thought it was a push-out. During the first replay I was looking the the push-out and again I thought it was a push-out. Then I started watching his feet looking for the ref's view. While his upper body was pushed his legs didn't move. TO simply failed to drag his foot.

Also, the clock was butchered at the end of the game. Dallas spiked the ball with one second left. Dallas really has no complaints.

It's easy to tell your players to defend the sideline, it's another thing for them to execute it.

What I didn't like was calling for an out pattern down by the goalline up by 8 with 6 minutes left. They could have run twice, kicked the FG with about 4 min. left and the cowboys would've had their work cut out for them.

Also, the FG at the end of the half was a bonehead play. They could've pinned the cowboys deep, had them take a few knees, and gone into halftime with the momentum.

Okay, then blame the OC for calling for pass on that third down close to the goal with your Rook QB in a big spot. Run the effing ball, take the gimme FG and go up by 11 and make it a 2 score game.

What was most humorous (to me, anyway) was watching both coaches stumble all over themselves at the end of the game.

* When Dallas started their second to last drive, they needed a TD *and* a 2-pointer to tie. So why in hell did they feel the need to call a timeout prior to the 2-point conversion? That play should have been called before the drive even began. Frankly, most teams have specific plays that they practice for 2 point situations, so the array of plays should have been known before the game even began. The loss of that timeout should have been a loss clinching event once the attempt failed.

* Why not have a RB on the field for the 2-point conversion? It adds another threat to the defense, gives you a blitz pickup if necessary and gives you a dumpoff option if necessary. I tiotally disagree with that personel grouping.

* On the on-side kick, what kind of return crew was that? How was a Dallas player able to be the first one to the ball without a Bill being (relatively) near him? It was an excellent kick, but they should have had a blocking scheme in place to give a Bill the first crack at the ball.

* What was with Buffalo's defense on the last offensive play of the game? Hey Buffalo, if the ball is caught in bounds the game is over. If the pass paly takes too long, even if the guy gets OOB, the game is over. If the QB scrambles, the game is over. So why were the CBs so far off of the WRs? Dallas (obviously) only needed a handful of yards to get into legitimate FG range. What Buffalo should have done is rushed three, played press coverage on the WRs with two layers of help over the top, both of which shaded towards the sideline. Playing this way would have:

1) Delayed the flow of the play, making it likely that a quick pass would be either incomplete or tackled in bounds or that a WR would really get open only after the 7 seconds were gone

2) Rushing three would be adequate enough to make Romo think about it, without any real chance for a sack, but quick pressure is not what this defense is about. Sure, rushing 3 opens you up to a scramble, but since Romo will look pass first, any scramble is likely to end the game.

3) Having two layers of help over the top - likely in a 3 DL/3 pressing CBs/3safeties 10 yards back and 2 safeties 15-20 yards back (sub CBs or LBs in for the safties based on available personel) - would have allowed the press coverage while still protecting the deep ball *and* letting you likely keep the WR in bounds.

* I might be wrong about this, but I am pretty sure that Buffalo had 2 timeouts on Dallas' final drive. Why not take one once you see how Dallas lines up before their final offensive play?

Those last few moments were ridiculous.
