Perfect outcome IMO.
This was a taxing win on a short week for the Cowboys plus the skin of their teeth win will only re-enforce their sloppy play. We can play poorly, and still win. We're the Cowboys. We're tops in the NFC.
The difference is it won't be Buffalo out there next week. I hate it for the Bills, but this was an ideal outcome from a Pats standpoint. Not that we need it.

Hey every body just because Dallas stunk tonight doesn't mean ther going to stink Sunday. Although I think tonights game took alot out of them. And they won't be as ready to play Sunday. We didn't play all that well yesterday. And I bet they thought the same thing in Dallas.
Aren't the Patriots going to the Cowboys?

So what? Teams don't ever play bad at home?
I'm pretty sure his point was that OP's thread title is a little off.
