Im tired of hearing about how you guys will go 16-0 this year. First of all, you haven't really played a tough NFL team yet, so your true tests are coming in the forms of Dallas and of course Indy. Indy is even better than last year, and has much better depth shown in the big win over a red hot team coming in(Tampa Bay). I can't wait for another Colts/Pats showdown and this time at our house!!

Tell NaPolian to start turning up the heat in the building!

Well all right then.

Wow. An Indy troll. How about that.

Unless you can see the future, there's no point in claiming that we won't go 16-0. I'm not saying we will, but your arguement is just the same as people saying we will go 16-0. Sure, you've got history on your side, but that doesn't mean you see the future.

Umm, I don't think you're going to find a reasonable fan who disagrees with the premise of your thread. They have run the table from this point in the season, though. Just throwin' that out there and it's not a definite they aren't going to.

Red hot team in Tampa Bay? TB was a freaking 3 & 1 in a 4 game season before that and thats RED HOT to you?

Another Colts troll idiot invades patsfans :bricks:

Well whats the best team you've played so far? The 1-3 Bengals?

Tampa was ranked the #5 defense in the NFL before the Indy game.

I don't know if its true or not but I'm getting sick and tired of hearing that the '72 dolphins always get together and toast to the team that just lost, no longer making them undefeated, keeping the 'phins undefeated streak intacted. I will welcome any team in this league to go undefeated and take it all, EVEN the Pats.

Wait, you question the Pats because of who they've played, but then call the Bucs "red hot" because they looked good against Atlanta, Carolina, and New Orleans?

I am not stupid enough to use the term 'RED HOT' when the teams have only played 4 games

Its pure stupidity

If TB was 5-1 or more than the term is better suited,no team is RED HOT at this 1/4 point in the season

You're going from experience, Indy, and I have to say, it must really chafe you to see people discussing this already.

I guess the difference the (most likely wrong) pundits are seeing, is that the Colts are known fast-starters and playoff-faders. Not taking anything away from your anomolous 2006, mind you, in which you managed to squeek by against the Pats. We're just dealing with two different animals here, and it's got to burn you up to see that the press is on to that.

The same team, minus AD, Stallworth, Welker, Moss, and Morris, ALMOST beat you guys out for the easy Super Bowl trip last year...

Now that team is loaded up with talent, and, oh yeah, almost forgot, has a chip on its shoulder and its back to the wall.

What you're seeing is the press incarnation of a league-wide "oh-ohhhhh."

And you have to admit, whenever the Colts started sniffing 16-0, you and everybody else in Indy knew deep in your hearts it wouldn't become that 19-0 you so craved, because the Pats stood in your way.

You guys are the champs, though, and I agree, it's unfair that the big red target is on the Pats, rather than the Colts. It's almost like you guys never won that big game last year, and that's not really fair.

Regardless, it will be the best circumstance for both teams to go into our regular season "showdown" undefeated. It'll be the game of the year, to that point, prior to the one that really matters.

Pity your boys won't be there for that one.

Um, probably the Chargers. Despite the fact they were reeling, they were still a contender in the AFC (and still will be, though a bye seems out of the question).
