If the Cowboys beat us.....

No, it means the Pats are 5-1. And they will get more humble pie than they can stomache. Almost like Homer in that Simpson's episode where he goes to hell and has to eat all those donuts.

I think it will actually take some pressure off. And its not like they're in your division let alone the AFC.

We've accomplished nothing, except getting 5/16ths of the way toward the post season.

There's one goal in a football season. And it doesn't have much to do with the result in game 6 against an out-of-conference opponent.

It means we are 2nd fiddle in the AFC until at least November 4th. Don't overlook the Redskins October 28th either.

If we score more football touchdowns instead of 3 pointers when in Red Zone we should do more points.

Don't worry, the Cowboys won't beat the Pats. My friend is a big Cowboys fan and we watch every game on Sunday ticket. The 'boys have played worse teams than the Patriots that can't make a tackle. While I will give credit to the Cowboys because their recievers get open on a regular basis, defenders half ass tackle them, which ends up going for a long gain. Romo is the real deal, Barber looks like their back of the future, Witten seems to get open at will and we all know that Owens is star. Their defense has looked good because the played QB's with broken ribs (Bulger), those who just plain suck (Grossman), Green did okay against them and Manning lit them up. It looks as though their defense has improved each week, but that is because the offenses that they play can't score points. Now the 'boys defense faces an offense that can put a lot of points on the board. They haven't faced a QB like Brady since they faced Manning last year. I have no idea how the Cots lost that game. The 'boys defense doesn't really do many things that would confuse QB's. Maybe I'm wrong, but it doesn't seem like they blitz a lot. Brady should be able to pick them apart next Sunday. I want to see how Romo and their offense reacts to a defense that can actually tackle and slow down a good ofense. It will be a good, close game, but the Pats should come away with a victory. Most often than not, the Pats always show up for big games like this. Pats win, 31-27.

As Madden would put it, the team that scores the most points has the best chance of winning the game.

i think Brady going to have atleast 350+ yards with 5 TDs yards this Sunday.

Does that invalidate all we have accomplished?

Yep, it sure does, but not just this year. If the Patriots lose a week 6 game this year, it invalidates everything the franchise has ever done. Period. This is a great post!

In fact, let me just add that it would invalidate everything this country has ever done!!! I'm weeping like a baby here..........................

A more appropriate question is what will people say when the pats win by 10 on the road in " Big D". Will that validate the 5-0 start? NO. I can not understand all the Dallas love nationaly, good team yes. Romo great qb no, very good but not great has yet to play a complete season. Besides the Dallas D scares no one I mean the giants went up and down the feild on them.
But in the end it dose not matter this team is going to have a loss at some point of the season. There are so many bad teams in the NFL most teams have not had stiff competition.

From what I'm hearing in the press box, if the Pats lose to the Cowboys, George Steinbrenner will fire Bill Belichick.
