OT: If you want to be sick this morning....

Would have been a nice little article if the writer left out the video tape bs.

Thanks, but I'll pass. I'm still enjoying this NE sports "morning-after", too much to spoil it with any stories about teams that reside elsewhere.

It gets me fired up for our showdown...."tacklin' fuel" :)

I wonder where all these articles were when the Colts were bombing in the playoffs every year.

Not really worth reading. Statistical notes are slim, lots of propaganda.

I don't know how many people live in Minnesota, but I do know they all share one charateristic: If they hold an opinion about football, I could care less about it.

lacks basic facts, seems to be written by a journalist who has no skills at all in writing, or collecring facts. This guy should be fired. When even a colts fan says it sucks, you know something about this writer is messed up.
I suggest that all of you write this guy an email, and tell him how full of **** he is.

Already did.

SO basically the entire post was.

My coach is better than yours,
my OC is better than yours,
my QB is better than yours,
oh and we won the SB!

If thats all it takes I am going to become a sports writer.

I guess this is another of those articles that assume that all a quarterback does is pass the ball.

I'll grant you that Manning is probably* a better passer than Brady, but, all else being equal, I'd argue that Brady is the better quarterback. (For God's sake, Manning didn't win a SB until he started playing the way Brady had been playing since day one.)

*If you asked me this last year, I would say "definitely." At this point, though, seeing what Brady is capable of, I can't say definitely anymore.

You don't even need facts to be a sports writer- just speculation. The quality of the product doesn't matter, just the amount of readers it attracts. Just like movies, TV shows, music - all media it seems.

I could easily write the exact same article for the Pats.
-Best coach in history
-Top QB in history
-Always win
-Always handle issues with class

Hell you could do it for most teams. The Colts vs. Pats rivalry crap has to stop. You root for who you want to root for.

according to this writer indy doesn't steal other teams signals (which is bull). but what he doesn't mention is that indy just steals other cities teams.

He also fails to mention that Howard Mudd, the Colts O-line coash, was outed by Jimmy Johnson as being one of THE BEST signal stealers in the game.

OR that Bill Polian, the Colts GM, is hated around the league for his tirads in the press box, his utter lack of class (the whole "break his freaking leg!" comment when Flutie played against them a couple of years ago), and bully mentality as was the case in the meadowlands with a Jets employee. And let's not forget about piping in crowd noise.

I guess facts aren't needed when they disporove your whole argument.

Why would they be looking for a team to root for anyways? The Vikings haven't moved.

But lets root for a team that literally ripped the heart out of an entire fan base by leaving the city hastily one night and never looking back. No thank you for your support or anything. Yeah, that's a team I want to root for!

Maybe it's just me, but I almost never want to be sick and this morning is no exception. :)

I just don't get off on all the hater columns. I don't care. I read all I can about the teams and the games, but personal opinions about "class" and "likability," eh. If I'm going to waste time on opinions, I'll waste it here spouting off some of my own! :p

i can see where being sick in the morning for a "chick" could be bad.

The worst part is that he is telling people in Minnesota they should root for the colts. THE VIKINGS ARE IN MINNESOTA. root for your own ******* team, not another team because they are good.
