I'm from Texas - the heart of Dallas Cowboy country, and before today's game, many Cowboy fans were saying next week's game would be a SB preview.

We're going to have to play much better next week than we did today to beat Dallas, and I agree with the posts here that their lackluster performance should motivate the players to have a great week of practice and get psyched for Dallas.

Yes, we're going to have to play much better next week to beat Dallas, and we will.

I've got a feeling that Maroney being out was really to save him for this game. BB knows we didn't need him, so why risk it?

Don't worry, BB will be able to bake a boat load of his 'humble pie's this week. Expect the team to be fired up next week

Next week will be tough but Dallas is overrated in general. Not saying that they won't play hard at home. It will be a nail biter.

Especially tough if the Cowboys actually allow themselves to look past tomorrow's game. They do play one, right?

Actually, it might be tougher if Dallas does manage to lose tomorrow... my God, that would be lighting a fire under their butts!

The good part is that we are still undefeated after not playing so well, and yeah this will probably be their motivator for next week.

Luckily, we get an extra day to prepare for dallas than they do against us!

Of course they will have to play better. And if Dallas plays bad they will lose. And "that's why they play the games." And any other cliche you want to use. I was encouraged. This offense was off a lot today and they managed to stil put up 27 points. It was nice to see them have to overcome adversity and they did so pretty well. I expect more focus next week.

We have a real test coming. Dallas looks like a good team. We have an extra day, small advantage. As the original poster said this could be a SB preview.

And great thing for me is I am heading down for the game...I will be sitting first row in one of the end zones....wooooooooooooo!!!!!

We had an off game and we still managed to win by 17. I'll take that any day.

In recent years, AFC opponents have had trouble at TX Stadium(i.e. Manning and the Colts getting smacked last year).

But to be honest-my expectations are LOW against the Pats.

Well their game will be over about midnight and they will be in Buffalo - its more like a day and a half advantage we have over them.

I really hope PATs bring their A game next week.
Just the thought of that cheerleader Dallas coach and
smack man TO is enough to give nightmares if PATs
are off their game. :(

For me this is the first game I believe will be very competitive.
I see a close game into the 4thQ. Could go either way.
My hope is Belichick will come up with a great game plan.

Didn't see the game, but I suspect "we HAVE to play better if we're going to beat Dallas next week" leans heavily on the fact that Dallas is overrated, and ignores the fact that the Patriots match up ridiculously well with Dallas.

We will kill them. Double-digits. Bank on it.

Nope. If DAL loses tomorrow BB will have game tape to look at. He'll kill em'.

Not overrated. Dallas is by far the best team in the NFC. Next week will be a good challenge for the Patriots.

I'd like to direct your attention to "in the NFC." Dallas is good, but DEFINITELY overrated. Pats by 10+.

Dude, i am with you on this! I don't think we will have much of a problem with Dallas.

I think THEY will have a hard time with Buffalo tmr night!
