After the Donkeys lose today, they are in 1st by themselves. They may not stay there but still its pretty amazing.

A lot of Bad teams this year imo
Falcons,Fish,Rats,Bills,Saints,Chiefs,Lions,Bears

I might actually turn that around: precious few GOOD teams this year. After the top few seeds you'd have to roll dice to predict playoff teams at this point.

In the AFC, at least, I think the playoff teams are set:

Pats
Colts
Steelers
Chargers
Titans
Jaguars

The NFC is anybody's guess.

If the Raiders can get any sort of consistently good (or even average) play at the quarterback position, it wouldn't surprise me if they were able to hang onto that lead for a while, maybe even make it to the playoffs. Their running game has been really good so far, and they have some serious depth at the running back position.

So there, they're only lacking the most important player on the football team, otherwise they could be pretty good.

The AFC West is terrible this year, especially considering the Denver Broncos defense and the Kansas City Chiefs offense.

Was SD really that good or is Denver just THAT bad?

Colts

Jaguars

I think your on with your picks! I don't see anyone else in the Mix.

Brokebacks might still be in the hunt at the end of the season... maybe.

Denver is finally getting a taste of the injury bug and it's killing them. Notice that their decline last year was conveniently after they lost key guys on D. In 2005 they were relatively injury-free. What sucks for the Pats is that we rarely catch these guys when they are down :( Hey, maybe they will recover in that crappy division and see us in Foxboro anyways ;)

That's certainly the way it looks right now. But "set" is a little strong.
