Did BB all of a sudden become a fan of 30 yard punts or what?

because he searches for the truth and stands for what's right.

we had a chance at SCott Player..he may be Grandpa to some people and hitting TBs but he can kick past 35 yards and inbounds

BB prob told him to kick it out of bounds to prevent Cribbs from making a big game changing play.

Granted Hanson isn't executing it as well as he should.
But what's my .02$

Bingo! Up 20-3, a 30 yd punt is a lot better than a 70yd return. I think people just like to bash punters.

Maybe they're hoping he can catch a predator:D

Dirk Johnson is still available.
Excellent punter...they should take a look next week

We may get another shot as the Browns' real punter should be back at some point.

But, yeah, Hanson is no better than Walter was. Ick.

Maybe he figures the last time it happened, the team won the Super Bowl..........so why not......oh never mind....

Fellers,

You can't dault the punter until you here what Belichick has to say about it. A couple weeks back it was a similar situation, and it turned out BB has told him how he wanted the punts to go.

Give it a rest until after the monday presser.

Respects,

I'm sure they were not telling him to kick the ball out of bounds at the other teams 30something-40 yard line.

I wanted a punter taken in the draft and most posters disagreed.

Well, next April
... if there is a punter equivalent to Gost (as a K) out there ...
the war room would be well advised to give him a shot
- instead of merely drafting some OLs for the Jets to scoop after the final cuts!

Yes we can. He blows. Just because Belichick wont throw him under the bus publicly doesn't change that obvious fact.

My HS and college Punting average > Hansons maybe Ill give BB a call.

He really needs to gowhat about that guy who beat up his father we released a few weeks back?

If any replacement punter that the Pats' brass likes is available, Hanson is gone this week IMO.

That was the third straight terrible punting performance by Hanson today.

One of these weeks the Pats will play a competitive team, and when that happens this guy will hurt them if he's still here.

Not only were the punts short, but they were also low and terrible direction-wise. It would be very interesting to see how BB can explain away all of that this week - - before he mumbled "well we're interested in directional punting" but that can't be it now.

I'm going to call Chris Hanson a really bad name here...

He's the new Ken Walter.

That's an insult to Ken Walter.

I really hope there are some punter auditions tomorrow so they can cut Hanson.
