god damnit with Maroney and Koppen WTF

Koppen misses 1 play then goes back into the game against Bengals .. limited in practice then misses the game.

Maroney..its probably precautionary again..save him up for Dallas.

I believe the Pats are just taking it extra careful with Maroney because we can right now. Let his groin (not hammy) get all healed up and continue rolling with Morris. Easy pickings today.

Re: Maroney, Koppen, Colivn OUT!

Marcellus was signed for two years, so he may have been released for this game only to be resigned next week.. BB does a lot of this chess match stuff.
According to REiss today is is still around...so yes..he WILL be back...

makes sense because didnt he sign kind of late? maybe didnt get enough work to get some playing time so save a spot this week..start fresh next

Colvin is not out btw..

And I do not think they needed him now..but in long terms they do..so he will be back...... "On the roster side, expect tight end Marcellus Rivers to return to the Patriots in the days following today's game. Rivers has not left the New England area following his release Saturday, and has no plans to do so. This looks like a case where the Patriots felt they needed depth on a different part of the roster (e.g. running back) on a one-game basis, and needed to make the move with Rivers on a short-term basis."......
Says it all!!! Neal for Koppen..that is an OK swap..I love Koppen, but with Neal back not as bad..Yates is fine backing up the inside position..O'Callaghan will be fine playing some TE as well. I am surprised Baker was out..but..I guess they like Washington's ST play...he is good..

I guess they feel if they cut Baker, he may be gone?

Maybe he's not thrilled with his limited role.
