The Bad Browns have one of the worst defenses in the leagues and Derek Anderson trhows picks as in the 26-24 loss to the Raiders. The Bad Browns also give up rushing yardage like it is candy on Halloween. An average of 176.3 rushing yards in their first 3 games, including 186 vs the lowly Raiders.

The "good browns" beat a tough ravens team and forced turnovers, including an intentional grounding by Steve Mcnair in their 27-13 win last week. They also held the Ravens to 111 yards rushing, albeit at a 5.6 yard average. They also allowed 307 yards passing, although they held Mcnair to 1 TD and 1 pick. Ok so 418 yards allowed isn't impressive, but isn't this a case of bend but don't break? Which Browns team will show up on Sunday, the Good Browns or the Bad Browns?

I have a feeling that if the Bad Browns show up, it could end up a slaughter of epic proportions. If the good browns show up. They might manage to make a game of it. However if their defense continues to give up that much yardage... it's going to be tough for them to come back against the Pats. Your thoughts on this matchup?

There's only the "Bad Browns."

The Bad Browns beat the Bad Bengals and the Bad Ravens.

Doesn't matter. Pats win and cover. Easily. Not the Browns fault or a sign that they're bad. They're just...not good enough.

I'm not sure there's a "good Browns" to be honest, from what I've seen there's been lots of blown coverages against them. Maybe it's by design, more likely bad play against them. Their offense is actually horrible on a consistency basis, they've "just" made a bunch of big plays . . . and maybe that's to their credit; but the longest play we've allowed in four games is 23 yards. So I expect us to shut down this "big play offense" and make Derek Anderson move down the field in smaller steps without making a mistake. And I don't think he can do that.

I couldnt agree more, we are a HORRIBLE match up for the Browns. There whole offense is orientated around the big play, our D simply doesnt give up the big play.

They have a big bruising back, our D eats up those types up backs for breakfast.

If the Pats come out focused this could be a blow out of epic proportions.

My vote is for the "Dead Browns".

There are no good browns. The team is aweful.

Awful teams aren't .500 even this early in to the season. Awful teams don't beat the Ravens by 14 points. You wanna see an awful team? Watch the Rams or the Falcons.

There is no good/bad Browns...

Its the competition that they play...

They are an average team at best playing the best team in the NFL...

The 49ers say high.

The 2003 Redskins were 3-1 at this point in the season.

I don't think the 49ers are awful. The Pat Willis led defense is decent and of course they have Frank Gore. I didn't buy the hype surrounding them in the offseason however. But that doesn't make them awful.

Good, bad...

We're the one with the guns.
